Welcome to our website

Israel's Unfaithfulness

Judges 2:10-13 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel. 11 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim: 12 And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger. 13 And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth. (KJV)

These people had served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he did for Israel (Vs.7) . . . BUT . . . when Joshua died, there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel (Vs.10).

Now, a question???  WHOSE fault was it that this next generation did NOT know the LORD and WHAT He had done for His people?

The next generation is raised by the generation before them! God was very adamant and unyielding in His Commands to Israel . . . they were to pass down what they believed and teach the Truth about the Holy One of Israel to that next generation.
Deut.6:4-9 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. (KJV)

SO . . . whose fault is it that the next generation does NOT know the LORD and WHAT He had done for His people??? People today are NOT teaching their children according to the above Scripture! NOT Israel! NOT the Gentiles!  NOT the Church! (1 Cor.10:32).

#1. Do YOU love the Lord thy God with ALL your heart, with ALL your soul and ALL your might?
I fall far short . . . how about you?

#2. Do YOU teach our children diligently about God?
I fall far short . . . how about you?

#3. Do YOU talk of them about God when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up?
I fall far short . . . how about you?

#4. Do YOU bind His Words for a sign upon thine hand, and are they as frontlets between thine eyes.  There were not many written copies of God’s Word in the ancient days. This seems to suggest to tie Scriptures on your hand and wear them on your forehead as reminders.
I fall short on this one too . . . Today, Bibles are available for anyone who wants them . . . but do WE read them as we should?

Dear one . . . religious education of children is sadly neglected today . . . even among the stronger ‘Christians’! I am an old woman, and consider myself a TRUE Christian . . . BUT, I must admit, I fell short of raising my children according to God’s standards. Wishing to have a second chance will do NO good! What’s done is done, and we must ‘forget the past,’ forgetting those things which are behind (Phil.3:13), because there is absolutely NOTHING we can do to change them!

Consider the following aids to help teach children:
*****1. Repeat things to them, teaching the Truths to all who under your care.
*****2. Talk seriously of these things with reverence and, not only to your children, but of all who come in your path.
*****3. Take advantage of all chances to speak about the plain Truths and Laws of God, and the things that bring peace.
*****4. Frequent reading of the Word of God with your children is a must, having them write Scriptures, on their hands as a reminder or warning.
*****5. Memorizing Scripture is a tremendous benefit.

We should by always make the Word of God familiar to us, our children and those around us, so it is ready for us to use in all times . . . for it will keep us from sin, and will lead, guide and direct us in our duty. We must NEVER be ashamed of our God and His Holy Word! Dear one, this is a warning NOT to forget God in a day of prosperity and plenty, for it is far too easy to grow secure, and forget the Giver. We must be careful, when we lie safe and soft, lest we  forget the Lord.  Let us not forget Him who is our only portion and rest. Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God; neither by lack of His power and goodness, or by our lack of faith and hope.

Is America a Christian Nation? America was definitely founded on Christian values. The Holy Bible was once read in EVERY public-school classroom, and the laws and our united moral standards were boldly and unashamedly shaped by the Word of God. But NOT today! Some Christians still think that this is a Christian nation. I must strongly disagree!

Would a Christian nation tolerate, and even encourage:
(1). Unrestricted sexual licentiousness.
(2). Flagrant homosexuality.
(3). Confusion over basic Creation Truths, like the biological distinction between men and women.
(4). An epidemic of family-shattering divorce, though hated by God.
(5). Rampant mind-numbing drug use . . . prescribed or “recreational.”
(6). Millions of babies murdered in their mothers’ wombs.
(7). Professing churches belittling Christ’s Deity and His Word.
(8). National leaders flaunting their deceitfulness and sin that deprives future generations of violation of Biblical principles.
(9). Removal of Bibles and prayer in public schools.
(10). Blasphemy of God and His Son, Jesus in all public places: mass media, TV, movies, etc.

ALL the above are widely accepted by the world today, including many ‘professing’ Christians!
There are many more heart-wrenching transgressions against our God in Heaven that multiply every single day. SO . . . instead of the listing any more transgressions, I have a question:

DOES GOD CONSIDER AMERICA A CHRISTIAN NATION?
Just like the people of ancient Israel, people today have indeed made a choice. Perhaps the only thing worse than silence in the face of such a dramatic option is to falsely claim something that contradicts a person’s living testimony. Jesus rightly called the Pharisees and scribes hypocrites: Mat.15:7-9 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV)

Today’s society is in the middle of a raging storm of confusing chaos, immorality, violence and non-stop wickedness. Only a ‘fool’ would sail out of a safe port (faith in Jesus) into a sea of immoral dependance and be swamped by huge waves of anxiety, crime and despair (listening to Satan). SO . . . what is the answer to America’s trouble? Is there a ‘light’ at the end of the tunnel?

Dear one . . .  there is just one way to escape the destructive path we are on . . . and the first step is . . . admit we have a problem! Anyone who refuses to admit that they have a problem, is
deceiving their-self and is on a self-destructive highway. The national leaders on down to ordinary citizens must first know our problem is spiritual (not of this world), the next step is to realize that self-sufficiency is NOT an asset. Politicians are quick to spurt out their ability to overcome anything they encounter . . . but such a boldness is NOT Biblical. We ALL need God . . . and that includes these leaders!

Do you think that IF America turned from denying their problem, would the majority turn back to Christ? It is VERY doubtful! I bring you Jesus’ Words from the Sermon on the Mount. Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV)
There are only TWO gates leading to eternity. To me, it is SO sad that millions CHOOSE the broad way that leads to Hell. That wide gate leads to a big broad road. Actually, BOTH these roads picture a funnel. Think about it. If you enter the funnel at the broad end, it keeps getting smaller and smaller. The longer a person stays on the broad, dark road, the harder it is to get off! It is dark because it is the devil’s road! That road keeps narrowing until you come to deeper darkness, death, destruction, and finally Hell. Now, consider the narrow road. Picture it too, as a funnel. On this narrow road, that only a few ever walk, you enter the funnel at the narrow part. That’s where Jesus is! He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He says, “… I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Now, on this narrow road, the longer you walk with Him, the wider it gets. Remember that Jesus is Light (John 1:4,9; 8:12), and as long as we walk with Him, the road is brightly lit. In Ezekiel’s prophecy (Ch. 47) there was a river flowing out from the throne of God which began as a little stream and widened out until it became a great river. That pictures the life of a child of God . . . it gets better every day. And the longer we stay on that narrow road, the wider it becomes, and the easier it is to stay on. Words of wisdom: When you pray, thank God, in Jesus’ Name, for His abundant blessings each day.

America’s rebellion has become so common and widespread, you must realize it has a spiritual problem, backed in force by that vicious GOD-hating, Satan!

Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. (KJV)
America must confess its great need and accept the Truth of God’s Holy Word!

Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. (KJV)
God’s inheritance includes both Jews and Gentiles! (Gal.3:26-29)
https://godcannotlie.org/book_of_galatians_ch3.htm.htm

Rev. 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (KJV)
Pay attention to this . . . severe punishment is threatened. If we do not love Jesus and stand by Him in ardent and persevering faith, He will cast us away from Him! We should NOT give a false opinion of Christianity. Others may conclude it could afford no real satisfaction, otherwise its professors would take more heart in it. Causes of indifference and inconsistency in Christianity is pride, greed and self-delusion. You are either FOR Jesus, or you are AGAINST Jesus. Which are you? You CANNOT sit on the fence! And IF you are not for Him, you are against Him!

Rev. 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: (KJV)
Think of all the people today who say 'I am rich. I have everything I want. I don't need anything!' They do NOT realize that they are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked in God’s Eyes!
Laodicea and Sardis were the richest churches around. They believed the almighty dollar was the answer to life’s problems. Sound familiar? Some believers falsely assume that numerous material possessions are a sign of God’s blessing. But what the Laodiceans could see and buy had become more valuable to them than what is unseen and eternal (Mat.6:19-21). Wealth, luxury, and ease can make people feel confident, satisfied, and complacent. But no matter how many possessions you have or how much money you make, you have NOTHING if you don’t have a relationship with Christ. Instead of centering your life primarily on comfort and luxury, find your true riches in Christ (Ep. 3:8; Phil.3:8; Jam.2:5; Mt.19:23; Mk.4:19; 1 Tim.6:7, 9, 19).

More often than not, TRUE Christians will be harassed, persecuted and prosecuted. Today’s present darkness will give way to an even more horrific future; during the Tribulation the Antichrist will seek to destroy ALL who worship the Lamb (Rev.6:9-11).

The anger and hostility will grow and spread like cancer as the end draws closer, leading to a much greater hatred to those of us who follow Christ. This is not only our looming and growing problem, it is also a great privilege to serve our Redeemer, Saviour and LORD! Stay close to Him dear ones . . . the closer, the better! We must be careful how we walk in this life. I think that the apostle Paul gives us some great advice in the following Scriptures. .

Warning to Contrary Behavior

Eph. 5:14-21 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20  Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. (KJV)

HOW can a person awake from the dead? HOW can a person awake out of spiritual death? What is spiritual death? For more on different deaths, see:
http://www.hisservants.org/death_then_what_1.1.htm
I think what Paul means here is either that the believers who have fallen into a spiritual stupor should wake up, or that unbelievers should stop quenching the Holy Spirit’s work in their lives.
Paul was most likely appealing to the Ephesians to wake up and realize the dangerous condition into which some of them had been slipping. I think it applies to us today as well. Far too many Christians get too comfortable in their position and fall away from their stand in Christ! Paul is warning us here, to BEWARE!!!

Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (KJV)
When Christ Jesus Returns, it is my humble opinion that He will find very few who have faith in Him. There will be multitudes who have fallen away, because of the power worldly temptations have upon the weakness of mankind. It seems that faith here means the true and suitable effects of faith, growing out of it, as the fruit out of the firmly planted root. This really is a warning to us today from the Saviour, which served as an outstanding caution to His apostles that they might WATCH, and take care that they might stay strong in their faith.

Matthew 24:9-14 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (KJV)
I think that the affliction Jesus is talking about is anti-Semitism on a worldwide scale. As long as the TRUE church is in the world, it is my opinion that there cannot be worldwide anti-Semitism because TRUE believers will resist it. No TRUE believer in the Lord Jesus Christ could ever hate the Jews . . . that is impossible!
And shall deceive many . . . many of these false teachers had a large numbers of followers, whose faith was undermined by them . . . just like today . . . and who followed their pernicious ways (2 Pet.2:2). Many were seduced by their deceitful words, false pretenses, and immoral practices.
And because iniquity shall abound . . . the malice and wickedness of these outrageous persecutors, would greatly increase; the treachery and hatred of the apostates; the errors and heresies of false teachers; the wickedness that prevailed in the lives and conversations of some that were called Christians . . . it seems that all these are hinted at in this context, as making up the abounding iniquity spoken of here.
The love of many shall wax cold . . . this would be the case of many, but NOT of all . . . for in the midst of this abounding iniquity, there were some whose love to Christ, to His Gospel, and to the saints, did not decrease . . . BUT there were many (Mat.7:13), whose enthusiasm for Christ, was greatly dampened, because of the violence of persecution, and through the deceit of false brethren, they withdrew from the saints, for they knew not who to trust. Through the damnable heresies (2 Pet.2:1) of the false teachers, a form of godliness (2 Tim.3:5), and the vital heat of religion, many were almost lost; and because of a love of the world, and of carnal pleasure, love to the saints had grown very cold. This does not say their love shall be lost, but wax cold.
But he that shall endure to the end . . . there are millions who make a profession of faith and trust in Christ, in spite of the violent persecutions of wicked men; and in the pure and incorrupt doctrines of the Gospel.  While many are deceived by the false teachers that shall arise; there shall be some who stick it out (Mat.7:14).
The same shall be saved . . . WHO is it who endures to the end? The Book of Revelation tells us that God will stop all the forces of nature and of evil while He seals a certain number of people (Rev.7). So . . . WHO is going to endure to the end? Those whom He seals! The Good Shepherd . . . in all ages . . . will bring His sheep through to the end. When He starts with a hundred sheep, He will come through with a hundred sheep.
What about someone who was very active in the church and has backslidden into sin. Is he/she saved? I do not know, only Almighty God knows. Judgment Day shall bring out the truth in a person’s heart! I do believe that IF a person is TRULY saved . . . they cannot lose their salvation! Eternal life is ETERNAL! Once you have it, you have it FOREVER!
https://hisservants.org/once_saved,_always_saved_h_s.htm

We will have to wait to see what happens on Judgment Day! Think about it this way: pigs will always in the end, wind up in the pigpen, and the prodigal sons will all find their way back to the Father's house. It is baffling to find a son in a pigpen and a pig in the Father's house. 2 Peter 2:22 . . . . . . and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. (KJV) . . . It is my opinion that there are many well washed sows (pigs) that are in the churches today . . . and too, that there are some sons (sheep) that are knee deep in a horrible sloppy pigpen somewhere. No matter how much a pig may scrub, in the end, he would never be able to stay in the Father's House. Sooner or later he would go back to the pigpen where he belonged. It is the same with the “son” . . . he might backslide, fall back into a sloppy, filthy pig pen, but he/she would NOT stay there! He would eventually go back to his Father’s house. "He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." Sometimes a son, a Christian, will get into a pigpen, but since he is a son, he will get out someday. WHY? Because he has a wonderful Shepherd. "The same shall be saved." I absolutely believe in “OSAS” . . . once saved, always saved . . . I do NOT mean all these people who PROFESS to be “Christians” . . . but do not POSSESS Christ in their heart. These are deceivers, false prophets, hypocrites. But, anyone who sincerely has believed God (1 Jn.5:10-13), and accepted God’s only begotten Son as their Saviour and Lord (Jn.3:16), is saved. You cannot be sure, neither can I . . . BUT God knows these people, these “sons” and these are the ones who shall endure to the end.
http://www.hisservants.org/once_saved,_always_saved_h_s.htm

We do not see Christ Face-to-face yet; but we do have hope to see Him like this one day, with such assurance that our hearts tremble with anticipation of His Coming? BUT . . . a CAUTION to individuals is not enough to reclaim America’s social order with God. If YOU do not know Jesus as Saviour and Lord personally, your eternal destiny is dreadful beyond any words I could say.

Dear one, you need to: #1. Realize you have a spiritual problem. #2. You must admit and confess your great need (as in the spirit of Rev.3:17).  #3. Turn AWAY from sin, and TO God, as you embrace Christ Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. Time is passing by . . . Jesus is at the gates of Heaven, ready for His Father to send Him forth to collect His Bride, the Church at the Rapture (1Thes.4:13-18). It could happen any day! However, you must consider the fact that you are not guaranteed another day . . . or even another hour. We know NOT when this event shall take place . . . so get ready so you will not be left behind to go through the Tribulation Period.

The moment that you call upon the Name of the Lord to save you . . . you will be saved! You will then join all TRUE believers who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and love Him with all our hearts, souls, and minds. Dear one, He has paid the penalty for OUR sin, and He is coming again soon!
America is displaying all the heartbreaking signs of society that prophetically mark the approaching Day of the Lord. Like Judah of old, our wound appears to be incurable as our nation shuns the God Who has blessed us. The signs of our own society offer a warning to those of us who seek to follow Christ. Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute—choose whether to stay true and follow Him. The Glory of the Lord is indeed coming, and shall be followed by an unleashing of His terrible swift sword of judgment and wrath. ARE YOU READY?
