Signs of End Times Society

The letters to the seven churches in Revelation Chapters 2 and 3 offer us both timeless encouragement and a warning to churches and to individual Christians. While only two of the churches had encouragement from the Lord Jesus, the other five were powerfully scolded.

Rev. 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. (KJV)
Jesus’ Words to the church in Ephesus are still much needed for us today. This beloved church, planted by the Apostle Paul, was the first to be called out by name in Revelation. The Lord first praised their deeds, toil and perseverance . . . and He also stated that they did not tolerate evil men. But, His complaint against that church was that they had abandoned their First Love.

There is no doubt, God is rightly offended when those who know Him, and should know better, turn their backs on Him and violate the relationship into which He has called them. And dear one, that is not only true for individuals . . . but also a nation or culture that once respected and honored the Lord strays from Him, rudeness is added to the hurt, and the Heart of God grieves.

We have a tendency to to see with physical eyes, measuring a nation’s health by its economic vitality or its citizens’ life expectancy. These indicators have merit, but just as God told Samuel NOT to look at outward appearance when anointing a king from among Jesse’s sons, God still “sees not as a man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart” (1 Sam. 16:7). God’s Holy and Prophetic Word tells us that most human hearts will grow colder and darker in the last days . . . and that ALL humanity will become more and more evil. This end times sign has indeed taken place in our world today! And it really does
Predict the Lord’s Return! Dear one, America is following the tragic route of ancient Judah right now. We are set apart and blessed with the grace of God . . . BUT . . . far too often we are misled into thinking that our nation is blessed because we DESERVE God’s blessing. How ridiculous! Can you not SEE the clear distortions and perversions . . . and people celebrating their wickedness?

America WAS founded as a CHRISTIAN Nation, but slow but sure, people started to think they knew better than God . . . and started making up their own rules . . . rules that shall put them in the fiery pits is of HELL!

And there are many Christians, instead of stating it is WRONG, go along with the majority . . . SO . . . where are we today? Exactly as Jesus said . . . only a FEW would make it to Heaven!
