APOSTASY
2 Thes. 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (KJV)
NKJV = falling away, perdition; NIV = the rebellion, perdition; NLT = a great rebellion against God, one who brings destruction; TEV = the final Rebellion, the Wicked One . . . who is destined to hell. GW = a revolt, the man of destruction, is revealed. NASB = the apostasy, destruction; ASV = the falling away, perdition; Dar = the apostasy, perdition; YLT = the falling away, the destruction, NAU = the apostasy, destruction, Msg = the Apostasy, the debut of the Anarchist, a real dog of Satan (verse distorted); CEV = people will rebel against God, omitted. PREPARE YOURSELF
Mark 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. (KJV)

ANTICHRIST
The Antichrist will exalt himself above the TRUE Almighty Creator God, and will eradicate many through his scheme of a peace treaty. He will practice witchcraft and will worship the “force” of pagan religions.
Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (KJV)
NKJV = he shall speak pompous words against the Most High; NLT = he will defy the Most High; TEV = He will speak against the Supreme God; GW = He will speak against the Most High God; NASB = he will speak out against the Most High; ASV = he shall speak words against the Most High; Dar = he shall speak words against the Most High; YLT = words as an adversary of the Most High it doth speak; NAU = 'He will speak out against the Most High; Msg = he will blaspheme the High God. NWT = he will speak even words against the Most High.
Daniel 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. (KJV)
NKJV = he shall destroy fearfully, holy people; NLT = He will cause a shocking amount of destruction, - holy people; TEV = He will cause terrible destruction, - God's own people; GW = He will cause astounding destruction, - some holy people. NASB = he will destroy to an extraordinary degree, - holy people; ASV = he shall destroy wonderfully, - holy people; Dar = he shall destroy marvellously, - the people of the saints; YLT = wonderful things he destroyeth, - the people of the Holy Ones.; NAU = he will destroy to an extraordinary degree, - holy people. Daniel 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (KJV) Craft = deceit, false, fake, skillful, treachery.
NKJV = deceit, - he shall destroy many in their prosperity; NIV = deceit, - when they feel secure, he will destroy many. NLT = He will be a master of deception, - omitted; TEV = in his deceitful ways, - omitted; GW = cleverly use his power to deceive, - destroy many people when they don't expect it. NASB = deceit, - omitted; ASV = craft, - in their security; Dar = craft, - by prosperity will corrupt many; YLT = deceit, - by ease; NAU = deceit, - while they are at ease; Msg = verse distorted. NWT = deception, a freedom from care.
Daniel 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. (KJV)
NKJV = fortresses; NIV = fortresses; NLT = fortresses; TEV = god who protects fortresses. GW = fortresses; NASB = fortresses; ASV = fortresses; Dar = fortresses; YLT = fortresses; NAU = fortresses; Msg = the God of the holy ones. NWT = fortresses.
2 Thes. 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (KJV)
NKJV = showing himself that he is God; NIV = proclaiming himself to be God; NLT = claiming that he himself is God. TEV = and claim to be God. GW = claiming to be God. NASB = displaying himself as being God. ASV = setting himself forth as God. Dar = shewing himself that he is God. YLT = shewing himself off that he is God; NAU = displaying himself as being God. Msg = he'll then set himself up in God's Temple as "God Almighty." CEV = and claim to be God. NWT = showing himself to be a god.
2 Thes. 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (KJV)
NKJV = whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth; NIV = whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth; NLT = whom the Lord Jesus will consume with the breath of his mouth; TEV = but when the Lord Jesus comes, he will kill him with the breath from his mouth; GW = the Lord Jesus will destroy him by what he says. NASB = whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth; ASV = whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth, Dar = whom the Lord Jesus shall consume with the breath of his mouth, YLT = whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, NAU = whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth; Msg = verse distorted; CEV = the Lord Jesus will kill him simply by breathing on him. NWT = whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth.
2 Thes. 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (KJV)
NKJV = the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan; NIV = the coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan; NLT = This evil man will come to do the work of Satan; TEV = will come with the power of Satan; GW = will come with the power of Satan. NASB = whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, ASV = whose coming is according to the working of Satan; Dar = whose coming is according to the working of Satan; YLT = whose presence is according to the working of the Adversary, NAU = whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, Msg = The Anarchist's coming is all Satan's work. CEV = omitted, verse distorted. NWT = is according to the operation of Satan.
Rev. 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (KJV)
Sea = many people, restless mass: Isa.8:7; 17:12-13; Jer.47:2: Rev.13:1
Waters = people: Jer.47:2; Ps.18:4; Is.17:12; Eze.38:9; Rev. 13:1; 17:15
NKJV = a beast rising up out of the sea; NIV = a beast coming out of the sea; NLT = a beast rising up out of the sea. TEV = a beast coming up out of the sea. GW = a beast coming out of the sea. NASB = a beast coming up out of the sea, ASV = a beast coming up out of the sea, Dar = a beast rising out of the sea, YLT = I saw out of the sea a beast coming up, NAU = a beast coming up out of the sea, Msg = a Beast rising from the sea. CEV = a beast coming up from the sea. NWT = a wild beast ascending out of the sea.
Rev. 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. (KJV)
NKJV = The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. NIV = The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. NLT = "The waters where the prostitute is sitting represent masses of people of every nation and language. TEV = "The waters you saw, on which the prostitute sits, are nations, peoples, races, and languages. GW = "The waters you saw, on which the prostitute is sitting, are people, crowds, nations, and languages. NASB = "The waters which you saw where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. ASV = The waters which thou sawest, where the harlot sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Dar = The waters which thou sawest, where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. Rev. 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. (KJV)
All versions say seven heads and ten horns.
Rev. 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (KJV)
All versions say: seven heads are seven mountains (or hills). Rome is built on seven mountains (hills). So the woman (apostate Church) rules from Rome.
Rev. 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. (KJV)
All versions say that the ten horns are ten kings. These ten kings will be the future revived Roman empire.
Rev. 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. (KJV)
These having one mind are the ten kings under control of Antichrist.
NKJV = These are of one mind; NIV = They have one purpose; NLT = They will all agree; TEV = These ten all have the same purpose, GW = They have one purpose; NASB = These have one purpose; ASV = These have one mind; Dar = These have one mind; YLT = these have one mind; NAU = These have one purpose; Msg = These kings will agree to turn over their power and authority to the Beast. CEV = They all think alike. NWT = one thought.
Rev. 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. (KJV)
NKJV = These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them: NIV = These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them: NLT = Together they will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them; TEV = They will fight against the Lamb; but the Lamb, together with his called, chosen, and faithful followers, will defeat them, GW = They will go to war against the lamb. The lamb will conquer them; NASB = "These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, ASV = These shall war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, Dar = These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them; YLT = these with the Lamb shall make war, and the Lamb shall overcome them, NAU = "These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, Msg = They will go to war against the Lamb but the Lamb will defeat them, CEV = These kings will go to war against the Lamb. Rev. 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (KJV)
NKJV = These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. NIV = The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. NLT = Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. TEV = The beast and the false prophet were both thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. GW = Both of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. NASB = these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. ASV = they two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burneth with brimstone: Dar = Alive were both cast into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone; YLT = living they were cast—the two—to the lake of the fire, that is burning with brimstone; NAU = these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. Msg = They were thrown alive, those two, into Lake Fire and Brimstone. CEV = The beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into a lake of burning sulphur. NWT = they both will be hurled into the fiery lake that burns with sulphur.
Rev. 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (KJV)
NKJV = And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. NIV = And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. NLT = Then the Devil, who betrayed them, was thrown into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. TEV = Then the Devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. GW = The devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet were also thrown. They will be tortured day and night forever and ever. He will be there with the beast and the false prophet, and they will be in pain day and night forever and ever. NWT = And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where both the wild beast and false prophet [already were]; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
