End Time Sign . . . Christians Turn From the Truth

2 Timothy 4:2-4 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (KJV)

This sign certainly has been fulfilled in our generation. Many professing Christians today do not study the Bible much at all. Instead they just rely on their pastor's word to be the truth . . . BUT . . . there are SO many false teachers out there! False teachers have crept into the churches, the majority of Protestants now reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the great Truth that God opened up to the early Protestant leaders, and they now embrace cults.
Great and precious truths were opened to the people of the Protestant reformation, but the reformation failed because the people did NOT continue seeking the Truth. Although God does have a remnant church teaching the Gospel Truth, today we live in a day where the majority have turned away from the Truth and been turned to fables. This sign of the end times has certainly been fulfilled in our generation. BEWARE!!! Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV)
