Welcome to our website
DOES GOD REALLY LOVE ME??
Because our book we did earlier, ‘DO YOU WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN?’ was so well accepted, I am going to try to write this one in a similar manner.
We receive many letters from people, and some have a very limited education. I can understand this because I never finished high school. I can see how ‘big’ words can make it hard to understand; and I know I have much trouble reading and understanding articles and books written by highly educated scholars. They ‘talk above me.’ I get discouraged and never even finish what they have written.
I have always tried to make my Bible study classes easy to understand. When I would come to a ‘big’ word, I would explain it. My dictionary looks almost as tattered and torn as my Bible. When I started to write these Bible study booklets, I tried to do the same thing, but maybe I didn’t go far enough, according to the response of ‘Do You Want To Go To Heaven?’. So with this in mind, I will again try to make all my books easy enough for a youngster to understand. A pastor friend once said that if a child could understand his sermons, then anyone could.

DOES GOD REALLY LOVE ME??
Written and compiled by: HIS SERVANT, Connie Kramer
Revised 11-2015
*** GOD’S GREAT LOVE ***
Like a wildfire, burning out of control,
Is God’s great love, consuming our soul!
O, so quickly, as a fire devours,
The wondrous love of God is truly ours!
God’s love is ours; amazing and true,
Eternally there, for me and you!
But, we must accept with a willing heart,
Then God’s awesome love will never depart!
God’s astounding love will never decrease,
And praise our Holy God, it will NOT cease!
It just continues, day after day,
‘Tis the best thing ever, to come our way!
God’s amazing love is everlasting,
The source of ALL His many blessings!
Troubles and sorrow can’t take it away,
They just make way for a bigger display!
Do we deserve God’s marvelous love?
No! for ‘tis a ‘gift’ from God above!
‘Tis poured out upon us when we believe,
And Jesus as Saviour, we receive!
There’s only one thing that we must do,
Before this great love comes into view.
Turn to Jesus, God’s one perfect Son,
And God’s fantastic love, you have won!

LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE
Before men, we should let our light shine,
Not as pleasing man, but God divine!
In all we do, we should glorify,
Our Creator God who lives on High!
Our God is pleased when fruits we bear,
One secret; go to the Lord in pray’r!
Faithful, determined that God we please,
We thru’ Jesus, our God can appease!
We as Christians, should God glorify,
Honor, revere, and on Him rely!
We must be united thru’ His Spirit,
That all see Christ, in works we submit!
Strive to please God, be rich in good works,
In service to God, we must not shirk!
Deep, true love, all His children must show,
To God and our brethren, we must bestow!
Praise our great God, for all He has done,
Be thankful, that He sent us His Son!
God planned a Way, to save us from Hell,
Go, tell of Christ, so in Heav’n, they’ll dwell!

(Mat.3:17; 5:16; 17:5; 22:37-40; John 6:38; 12:28; 15:8; 17:21;

LETTING YOUR ‘LIGHT’ SHINE!
Luke 12:8-9 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: 9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. (KJV) . . . When you turn to Jesus to save you, you MUST confess Him (acknowledge) before men. You now belong to Him, and He belongs to you! You MUST own up to this fact or you simply are NOT a Christian!
How can we disown Jesus? (1.) By staying quiet and hoping no one will think you are a Christian. (2.) By being silent about what we think about Jesus. (3.) By not speaking up for what is right. (4.) By ‘going with the flow’ (blending in with society). (5) By accepting non-Christian ways. (6.) By compromising your morals.
On the other hand, we acknowledge Him when we (1.) Live good, moral, Christ-honoring lives. (2.) Look for every opportunity to share Jesus with others. (3.) Helping those in need (money, kindness, love, just being there). (4.) Taking a firm stand for Jesus. (5.) Being faithful, dependable and loyal to Christ. (6.) Loving others. (7.) Using our lives and assets to carry out His desire, His will, NOT ours!
Matthew 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. [15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. [KJV] . . . There is no way a city on a hill can be hidden. Its lights at night can be seen for many miles. If we are truly living for Jesus, we will be like a ‘city on a hill.’ Our lights (good words and works) will gleam to all those around us, showing others what Christ is really like.
Don’t hide your light by: (1,) being quiet when you should speak, (2,) going along with the crowd, (3.) letting sin dim your light, (4.) not explaining your light to others, or (5.) turning your back on the needs of others. We should be as a ‘lighthouse’ on a dark, black night. We should be a ‘beacon of truth.’ We must not, we cannot shut off our ‘light’ from all those around us.
Matthew 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. (KJV) . . . Those in “darkness” are ALL who do not know Christ. They are the devil’s children. If you are not a child of God by faith in Jesus, you are a child of the devil (1 John 3:10). They are so content in this condition; they choose it rather than light. When the Gospel comes, it brings light. When it comes to any place, or to any soul, the Light of Jesus makes darkness fly away! That is why it is so very important for us to tell others about Jesus! We CANNOT be ‘closet Christians.’ We CANNOT wait until we learn more about God’s Word before we tell others. Simply tell people what trusting Jesus has done in your life. Tell them of His great love and the peace, joy and contentment He has brought that you did not have before you opened your heart’s door to Him (Rev.3:20). Tell them that you will one day live in Heaven with Jesus for eternity! Tell them about Jesus’ love!
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BELIEVE?
You may know that God’s love and grace are limitless even if you are not a ‘believer,’ but you may not know that UNLESS you believe on the Name of Jesus, God’s Son, as your personal Saviour and Lord, you will never experience that love or that grace, in the salvation of your soul.
To believe means you know you cannot save yourself.
To believe means that you know that salvation is through Christ alone; that only He can save you.
To believe means that if you want to go to Heaven, you must go through Christ.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. [KJV] . . . Heaven is where the Father is.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. [KJV]
To believe means you know Christ IS who He says He is, and will do what He said He will do.
To believe means you accept what Christ did on the cross; redeeming your soul from Hell and God’s wrath, and completely forgiving you.
To believe means you must have a personal relationship with Christ; trusting Him as your loyal Friend and Guide in all things.
To believe means you know you must obey Christ.
John 15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. [KJV] . . . DO YOU BELIEVE?
DOES GOD REALLY LOVE ME?
INTRODUCTION
There are many people who have a hard time believing that God could really love them; really care for them; or really is concerned about them. Some of us think we have been SO bad, that God could never love us. At times we are so burdened by the guilt of sin, that we can’t possibly see how an awesome, holy and pure God can even look at us.
ALL of us are sinners; every last one of us.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (KJV)
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (KJV)
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV) . . . If we sin, we must pay the penalty. In this, there are two roads to go. You can believe God and trust His Son to save you from that penalty, or you can pay the penalty yourself; and that penalty is eternity in Hell. Eternity is a very L-O-N-G time!
God KNEW we would sin, and because He loved us so much, He sent His Son to save us from His anger (at our sin) and our rightful punishment of that sin. When we trust Jesus as Saviour and Lord, we are washed in the precious Blood of Jesus (1 Pet.1:18-19). We are as white as snow (Isa.1:18), in God’s eyes, for when God looks down and sees us, He does not see our sin; He sees the precious Blood of His dear Son, and God will NEVER turn His Back on that precious Blood!
God not only loves you, He cares for you. I tell those in my classes that ‘love’ consists of the three ‘C’s;’ care, concern and compassion. CARE means to love or like; to take charge of; to look after; to provide for. CONCERN means to have a relation to; to be interested in; interest in or regard for; to be willing to participate or share one’s burdens; to want the best for; to be personally attentive to and willing to get involved. COMPASSION means to feel pity; to feel sorrow for one’s sufferings or troubles; to be tender and gentle; to feel deeply sympathetic when one is in pain, to have mercy on. Does this describe God? YES! It does in every way.
Song 8:6-7 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame. 7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned. (KJV) . . . We must provide a place for God’s love in our life; set it as a “seal” on our hearts, and He in return will give us protection by His power. Because of God’s love for us, our soul can be assured of peace and joy and forgiveness and eventually rest for eternity. God’s love is as strong as death; it cannot be killed by time or any possible disaster; and it cannot be bought, for any price, because God GIVES it freely and abundantly to those who want and accept it! God’s love is priceless; not even the richest man in the world can buy it! God’s love is a ‘gift’ which we must reach out and willingly accept, and then share it with others.
THE LOVE OF GOD
Chapter 1
• LOVE is a part of God’s character.
2 Cor. 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. (KJV) . . . God is the Author of peace and Lover of harmony and agreement. He loves us, and wants us to be at peace with Him. It should be our constant desire to walk in a way that is pleasing to Him. He truly wishes that we may take part in all the benefits which are available only through Christ. Because of the vast love of Christ, His free grace and favor has paid for our redemption; the Father out of His vast love has forgiven and accepted us because of our acceptance of His Son; and the Holy Ghost applies and bestows this unending love to our hearts and souls.
1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (KJV) . . . “God is love,” not “Love is God.” In our selfish world today, and its view of love; these words are turned around and it contaminates our understanding of love. Love is NOT what makes a person feel good, and it is NOT all right to sacrifice our moral principles and others’ rights in order to obtain such “love.” This is NOT real love; it is the exact opposite . . . selfishness. God’s love is NOT that kind of “love.” Real love is like God’s, who is holy, just, and perfect. If we truly know God, we will love as He does, and NOT be selfish . . . thinking only of ME, ME, ME!
• Christ, the special object of God’s love.
John 15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. (KJV) . . . As God the Father loves Christ, who was most worthy, so He loved His disciples, who were, and are unworthy. Everyone who loves the Saviour should continue (stay steadfast) in their love to Him, and take every occasion to make it known to all around them.
John 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. (KJV) . . . Jesus declares the Name or character of God, by His doctrine and His Spirit. God’s love for Jesus is passed on to all who believe in Him. We are joined (united) to Him by one Spirit (Rom.8:9), that we might be filled with all the fullness of God, and enjoy abundant blessings.
GOD’S LOVE IS DESCRIBED AS:
• Great.
Eph. 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, (KJV) . . . Sin is the death of the soul. A person (unbeliever) who is dead in their sins has NO desire whatsoever for anything spiritual. Because of the love of God the Father and Jesus, we no longer need to live under sin’s power. The penalty of sin and its binding power over us were miraculously destroyed by Christ’s Work on the Cross. Through faith in Christ we stand acquitted (justified, not guilty Rom.5:1), before our Almighty Creator, God (Rom. 3:21-22). There will still be times that we feel like sinning, and sometimes we will give in to temptation and sin. But because of Jesus, there is a BIG difference; before we became Christians, we were spiritually dead in sin and were slaves (prisoners) to our sinful nature. But now we are spiritually alive with Christ.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. [KJV] . . . What an awesome Saviour and God we have! HE LOVES US! Our God loves us! Praise the Lord! Thank You Jesus!
• Abiding.
Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. [KJV] . . . We sin when we chase after happiness, and cut ourselves off from fellowship with God; for God is the only One who can make us truly happy. True happiness can come only when we allow God to be with us. We do this by following Him faithfully, and obeying His commands. When we do this, God rejoices over us! If you want to be TRULY happy, draw closer to the source of happiness (God). God’s children will have many troubles and sorrows; but we can rejoice in God’s love. Our hearts should honor the Lord, and rejoice in Him, when we hear such words of grace. The glory, joy and happiness of the believer will be perfect, unchangeable, and eternal, when he is freed from earthly sorrows, and brought to heavenly bliss.
• We cannot be separated from God’s love.
Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (KJV) . . . To me, these verses bring tremendous comfort. Believers have always had to face hardships of many kinds: sickness, pain, sorrow, persecution, imprisonment, maybe even death. Any one of these, after a prolonged time, could cause us to think that we may have been abandoned by Jesus. But these wonderful words tell us that it is IMPOSSIBLE to be separated from Christ Jesus. His sacrificial death (for us) is proof of His unquenchable love. Nothing can stop Christ’s constant Presence with us, for His Spirit abides within us (Rom.8:9). He tells us that He will never leave or forsake us (Heb.13:5). God tells us how great His love for us is, so that we can feel totally secure in Him. If we believe these words, we will not be afraid, for we know God loves us! We know He will NEVER let anything happen to our souls. God’s profound love for His people is unequaled. No matter what happens to us, no matter where we are, we can never be lost to His vast love. Suffering should not drive us away from God, but instead, it should drive us closer to Him! We should allow His amazing love to reach out to us and heal us. Thank You Jesus!
• Obliging, helpful, considerate.
Hosea 11:4 I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them. (KJV) . . . God disciplines all those whom He loves. Some days we require leading and some days feeding. Some days the rope is tight; and some days it is slack. But, God’s discipline is always loving and its object is always the well-being of His beloved. When Israel was weak and helpless, and foolish and disobedient as children, God still loved them. He bore them and took care of their every need. All of us who are grown, ought to often remember the goodness of God to us in our childhood. He cared for us, He took special pains with us. He not only acted as a father, and a teacher, but also as a mother, and a nurse. When Israel was in the wilderness, (simply because of their unbelief; sin) God showed them the way in which they should go, He bore them up, and took them by the arms. How wonderful He is! There are so many times as I look back on my childhood, that I can see His ever present nearness. He actually and literally saved my life more than once! PRAISE HIM!
• Everlasting, eternal, never ending, non stop.
Jeremiah 31:3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. [KJV] . . . God reaches out to His children with kindness that is motivated by a true, deep and everlasting love. He really wants to do the best for them, if only they will let Him. God’s magnificent love is like a breath of fresh air after being cooped up in a small, stagnant, suffocating room. Can’t you see Him so lovingly drawing us to Himself? Because we have accepted His only begotten Son, He will draw us to Himself, by His Spirit working upon our souls.
• Our goodness does not count.
Job 7:17 What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him? [KJV] . . . No matter how devout or righteous a man is (or thinks he is) he or she is still a sinner! God is our Preserver, and the Saviour of the souls of all that believe. We can hide absolutely nothing from Him, nor can we lie to Him, saying we have Jesus in our hearts when we do not!
• MANIFESTED TOWARDS:
• Perishing sinners.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [KJV] . . . THIS IS THE GOSPEL IN A NUTSHELL! God’s love is not self-centered; it reaches out and draws others in. God paid dearly with the life of His only begotten Son; the highest price He could pay.
Jesus also paid a great price because of His love for us. He accepted our punishment, paid the complete and total price for our sins, and then He so graciously offered us the new life He had bought for us. When we share the Gospel with others, our love must be like Jesus’ love; we must be willing to give up our own comfort and security so that we might show others the huge benefit of receiving God’s amazing love. When you truly love someone dearly, you are willing to give freely to the point of self-sacrifice, perhaps even death!
Titus 3:3-4 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, (KJV) . . . To follow a life of pleasure and to give in to every sensual desire, leads to being a slave, a prisoner. Most people think freedom is doing anything they want, any time they want! This road leads to an addiction to sensual gratification. You are no longer free, but a slave to whatever his or her body demands.
2 Peter 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. (KJV) . . . Only Christ Jesus can free us from the desires and control of sin. Have you been set free from the bondage of sin?
• His saints, the TRUE children of God.
John 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. (KJV) . . . Jesus does not have to ask God the Father to love us, for the Father already loves us! We can approach or access God, not because of any good we have done, but because Jesus, our great high priest (Heb.3:1; 8:1), has made us acceptable to God (Rom.5:1). A “saint” is a child of God, a believer! And again, becoming a saint, is made possible only through Jesus! We could NEVER do enough good deeds in 10 lifetimes (let alone one), to warrant us becoming saints. Only the righteousness of Christ, and our acceptance of Him makes us saints!
John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. (KJV) . . . Jesus truly wants for His disciples (us) to be “one” (unity). He wants us unified so that we may be a powerful witness to the reality of God’s love.
2 Thes. 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, [KJV] . . . How wonderful this tremendous comfort is, that we receive from both God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ! Each and every saint has “good hope through grace.” Free grace and mercy of God are what we hope for and expect, and it is what our hopes are founded upon; not on any worth or merit of our own. The more pleasure we take in the Word, works, ways, and love of God, the better chance we have to endure to the end (Mat.24:13).
1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. (KJV) . . . When we know how much God loves us, and we know we can trust Him. God is love, and he that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him. “Whosoever” confesses that Jesus is the Son of God; God lives in him, and he in God. If and/or when you make this confession of faith sincerely from your heart; and acknowledge with your mouth the glory of God and Christ, you are God’s child! He is your spiritual Father.
• The destitute, needy.
Deut. 10:18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment. (KJV) . . . God’s gracious gifts and blessings to us, should make us want to honor all men. Anyone who has been in distress, and then felt the mercy of God, should be ready and willing to show kindness to those who are in a similar situation. We need to submit our total being (heart, mind, body, soul) to God. We need to imitate God’s love and justice in our relationships with others (ALL others, red, yellow, black, white). When our hearts are right with God, our relationships with other people can be right too. What God wants and expects from His children is. LOVE! When our heart has been cleansed and we have been reconciled to God, you will see a difference in the way you treat others.
2 Cor. 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. (KJV) . . . We do serve a “GOD OF LOVE!” A wonderful title for God: the God of love and peace.
1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (KJV) . . . If you do NOT love God, you do NOT know Him. We must show care, concern and compassion for others IF we sincerely love God. LOVE!
THE LOVE OF GOD MADE PLAIN
Chapter 2
• Exhibited in God, by His giving us Christ to save us.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [KJV] . . . God’s love is NEVER self-centered. It is ALWAYS reaching out and pulling others in. God shows us just what true love is. Without love as a ‘base’ or foundation, NO relationship has a chance to survive! When you really love someone, you are more than willing to give; of yourself, your time, your love. God has just one “only begotten Son.”He has MANY other children, MANY other sons; but they all are adopted. God paid a great price when He “gave” His Son; the highest price He could pay. Those of you who have children; would you send your son to die (death on the Cross) for millions of absolutely wicked sinners? God, out of love, did just that, for us! And Jesus so willingly (out of love) accepted our punishment, by His sacrificial death on that Cross. He paid the price for our sins, removed God’s wrath from us (Rom.5:1-10), and then He gives us eternal life in Heaven (God’s Home). If we believe in Him, we shall NEVER perish (which means everlasting destruction in Hell), but have everlasting life in the awesome realm and bliss of Heaven!
2 Thes. 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: [9] Who shall be punished with everlasting
destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; [KJV] . . . Do you want God’s love, OR God’s wrath? To “believe” is more than agreeing that Jesus is God. It is to put our trust and confidence in Him, knowing that only He alone can save us from God’s wrath, and from Hell. It is to put Jesus in charge of our present life, plans and eternal destiny. It is making a commitment to Him. To Believe is both trusting His words as true and reliable, and to rely on Him for the power to change us. If you have never trusted Christ, there is no time like the present! Tomorrow may be too late for you. None of us know how long God has given us. Let God’s promise of everlasting life be yours, simply believe God in faith! To see the meaning of BELIEVE, see above.
OUR CLOCK
Our clock keeps ticking, the hours rush by,
We cannot stop time, no need to try.
God gives each soul, a number of days,
When our time is gone, He’ll take us away.
Then shall the dust return to the Earth,
No matter who, or how much your worth.
When our Creator beckons, we must go,
And leave all we have, here on Earth below.
But you do have an eternal spirit,
At death, your spirit will still exist.
God’s Word is as plain as it can be,
Just read with an open mind, and see.
Our spirit shall return unto God,
He gave it; He’ll take it; the world abroad.
There is no soul sleep as some do say,
Your soul is awake, for ALL your days.
Just what will God do with your spirit?
It goes back to Him, you must admit.
Will your angels carry you to Heaven?
Or will the prison of Hades be given?
Our clock keeps ticking; time on Earth is brief,
When God takes your soul, will it find relief?
Christ can grant the key to Heaven’s door,
And Hell will be gone from you, for ever more.

Everyone who has ever lived, or is yet to be born, has a certain number of days given them by Almighty God. No one knows this number except God! This is why it is so important to tell people about Jesus and His love. Only Jesus can save a person from Hell; and people need to be told this fact! The words you speak may cause someone to reach out to Jesus and His love!
• God’s sending of Christ, and Jesus’ willingness to come.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV) . . . Love explains a lot of things about God.
(1.) Why does God create? Because He loves, He creates people for Him to love, and those people to love Him back.
(2.) Why does God care? Because He loves them, He cares for sinful people.
(3.) Why we are free to choose? God does not want robots! He wants our response to Him to be love.
(4.) Why did Christ die? Because He loved us so much, His love made Him look for an answer to the problem of sin.
(5.) Why does God give us eternal life? God loves us so much that He wants us to be with Him forever! God is indeed a “God of love.” The Spirit of God is the Spirit of love. It is God’s nature to be kind, gentle, merciful, and to give happiness. The law of God is love; and anyone who wants to have peace, joy and happiness, must obey it. God provided Jesus, and the Gospel; for the forgiveness of our sin, and the salvation of sinners. This shows that God is truly a God of love. We cannot think enough thoughts, or say enough words that would ever do justice to the free, astounding love of a holy God towards sinners. If we could search the entire universe for love in its most glorious display, it would be found in the Person of Christ, as He hung on that Cross. Praise be to our precious Saviour!
• Christ’s dying for sinners.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (KJV) . . . While we were still sinners . . . these are such amazing words! God sent Jesus Christ to die for us, not because we were good enough, but because He loved us! Oh, how wonderful this is! Any time that you feel uncertain about God’s love for you, remember that He loved you even before you turned to Him. If God loved you when you were a rebellious sinner, He surely loves you now that you love Him back!
Christ died for sinners; we were useless, guilty, evil and hateful. Without Jesus stepping in and making a way possible to relieve God’s wrath and placing us in the family of God; everlasting destruction in Hell would be God’s only choice. Christ died to save us from our sins; and we were very much still sinners when He died for us. Our carnal mind is not only an enemy to God, but an enemy to us.
Colossians 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled (KJV) . . . God shows His justice in requiring full satisfaction. His way of redeeming mankind by the death of Christ was most suitable to Him. Jesus’ Work on the Cross reconciles sinners with a righteous God. God hates sin; ANY sin! We were once enemies in our minds by wicked works, but once we accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord, we are reconciled to God by the sacrifice and death of Christ. We can never fully understand these mysteries; but we shall see the glory of God’s plan of redemption, and rejoice in the hope set before us. God’s love is so great to us!
Because we were alienated from God before we turned to Jesus, we were strangers to His way of thinking. Sin corrupted our way of thinking about God. Any wrong thinking leads to sin, and it twists and destroys our thoughts about Him.
No one is good enough to save himself or herself. If we want to live eternally in Heaven with Jesus, we must depend totally on God’s grace. This is true whether we have been murderers or honest, hardworking citizens. We have all sinned, time and time again. Apart from Christ, there is no way for our sin to be forgiven and removed, or to feel that amazing love of God. . . . “No one is too bad that they can’t come to Christ. No one is too good that they shouldn’t come to Christ.” Author unknown.
God designed the perfect Way to deliver us from sin and its penalty, and to work a great change in our lives. BUT, while the sinner continues without Jesus, God loathes (hates) the sinner, and the sinner loathes (hates) God. It truly is a great ‘mystery’ WHY Jesus loved us as He does, but, He does! Have you thanked Him for His love?
1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (KJV) . . . Nothing sinful or evil can exist in God’s Presence. He is absolutely pure and good. He can NEVER overlook, condone, or excuse sin as though it never happened. He loves us, but His love does not make Him turn His back on sin. BUT, if we trust in Christ, we will not have to bear the penalty for our sins.
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (KJV) . . . Christ died for our sins, in our place, so we would not have to suffer the punishment we deserve. For our justification (to make us right in God’s eyes); Christ was bruised and crucified as a Sacrifice for our sins, and by His stripes (wounds) the disease of our sin-sick soul is cured. It is our decision to sin; to go astray from our Shepherd and the flock. We cannot blame it on someone else. We can blame only ourselves when we expose ourselves to the many different dangers awaiting a lost sheep. If you have turned your back on God, and gone astray (backsliding), return from the errors of your ways, from your wanderings, and turn back to the God who loves you! If you do not know Jesus for the full pardon of your sins, and eternal life which only He can give, turn to Him now. Sinners, without Jesus, are always going astray; their life is one long, continued error; wandering so far from the God who loves them dearly.
God truly shows Himself to be love. We can achieve eternal happiness, unless we simply refuse to believe God, and refuse to repent of our sins that He hates so much. Justice would condemn us to the hopeless misery and agony of Hell, because we constantly break our Creator’s laws. None of our words or thoughts or deeds can save our souls. Only the amazing love and grace of our holy God can ever do that! If you have never experienced this perfect love of God, you don’t know what you are missing!
• Adoption.
1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. [KJV] . . . This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible; but then, I have a lot of favorites! We are His children, NOW (John 5:24), NOT just sometime in the distant future. To me this is absolutely amazing! God loves us that much, that He has made us His children. Knowing this should encourage us to live as Jesus did. Our self-worth is based on the FACT that God loves us and calls us His children. We are members of God’s own family, we are children of Almighty God. WONDERFUL!!!
***CHILDREN OF GOD***
As many as receive Jesus as Lord,
Will be God’s children, as told in His Word.
Born, not of blood nor flesh, nor will of man,
But, born of Almighty God, ‘tis His plan!
As many as are led by God’s Spirit,
Are sons of God, when to Christ they submit.
The spirit of bondage to fear is shed,
The Spirit of adoption has come instead.
If we are children in God’s family,
We are then heirs of God for eternity.
Joint-heirs with Christ, God’s well beloved Son,
Who was with God, before this world was begun.
We are heirs to eternal life in Heav’n,
Heirs to the promise, so long ago giv’n.
If we be Christ’s, then we’re Abraham’s seed,
Faith is counted for righteousness; faith we need!
As many as receive Jesus to save,
Are children of God, even past the grave!
We are justified by grace, heirs of hope,
Eternal life is ours, no need to grope.

All of God’s children have a duty to perform, and a serious duty it is, to say the least. We cannot keep Jesus to ourselves! We MUST tell others about Jesus; of His love, peace, joy and forgiveness in this life, and eternal life in Heaven that is surely ours in the future!
The ‘world’ (unbelievers) cannot possibly know the happiness of those who truly follow Christ. Nor does the world think that these poor, humble, despised ones are God’s favorites and His children, and will one day dwell in Heaven with Him! We must walk by faith, and live by hope. We must wait in faith, hope, patience and earnest desire, for the Lord Jesus to come! God’s children will be known, and be made manifest by likeness to their Head (Jesus). We shall be transformed into the likeness of Him.
• Redemption, atonement.
Isaiah 44:21-22 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me. 22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. (KJV) . . . Redeem means to pay a price for, as did our Saviour in His atoning Work on the Cross. Anyone who has backslidden from God, like the Jews of old, should hurry and return to Him. Redemption is brought about by a perfect and special love for us by Christ, and it encourages us to hope for all the many blessings that are available only from Him. Our sins are like a thick cloud between Heaven and Earth. Sins separate us from God, for He is so holy, pure and just that He CANNOT stand to look on any sin! Sins bring about the storm of God’s wrath. When God forgives us through Jesus (pardons sin), He blows this cloud away so the way to His holy Throne is open again. That SIN cloud is scattered by the Son of righteousness; it is completely gone! Great comfort and relief flow into our soul when sin is forgiven.
*** WHEN SIN COMES BETWEEN ***
Sin will block you from our wondrous God,
Fellowship is halted, as you trod.
Sin, like a dark cloud, will come between,
Standing between you and God, as a screen.
In sin, we lose the “joy of salvation,”
Satan smiles at our degradation.
God’s Holy Spirit, we should not grieve,
We must turn away; from our sin leave.
Sin will always make your pathway dark,
Darkness prevails, when to Satan, you hark.
Dark black nights are sin and wickedness,
Ruled by old Satan, in his finesse.
We must confess our sin, night or day,
Our great God, we must love and obey.
Lament, mourn, and weep; true sorrow show,
Then turn and run; from sin and Satan, go!
If we obey God, our path is bright,
Christ will lighten, with glorious light!
With Christ, it’s always bright shining day,
His brilliance always lights the way.
When e’er you sin; that cloud comes between,
Dark will be the way; the path can’t be seen.
Of that sin, you must repent, and confess,
God will forgive; this He does promise.

(Ps.66:18; 51:12; Is.59:2; 64:7; 1:15; Deut.31:18; 1 Jn.1:9; Mt.5:4;
Ep.4:30; Jam.4:7; Rev.21:23; Jn.1:4; 14:6)
Please tell others about the forgiveness that is available to us only through Jesus. We need to reach as many as we can with the Good News about Jesus, that they too may escape the horrors of an eternal Hell.
Matthew 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (KJV) . . . I stand in awe of this verse. Jesus, who is GOD, left His Home in Heaven where He was worshipped and revered; came to Earth to save the likes of me, and you (sinners). He had “no where to lay His Head.”
Matthew 8:20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. (KJV) . . . It is a fact, just how much Jesus truly loves us, with His awesome, amazing, and continuous love! GOD left Heaven to be a servant! For me, this is hard to comprehend!
Jesus clearly revealed that only His death could save us (Mt.28:20); a Sacrifice for the sins of mankind, a truly sufficient and acceptable Sacrifice. His death was a “ransom” for many, and enough for all! Have you thanked Jesus today??
• Freeness of salvation.
Titus 3:4-7 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (KJV) . . . The ‘bottom line’ of what Christ does for us when He saves us is:
(1.) We leave a life full of sin to one where we are led by God’s Holy Spirit.
(2.) All our sins, not just some, are washed away by the precious Blood of Jesus! We’re declared “Not guilty” in the courts of Heaven.
(3.) When we turn to Christ, we acknowledge Christ as Saviour and Lord, and recognize His saving Work and power.
(4.) We are renewed by the Holy Spirit, and He never stops renewing our hearts.
(5.) We have His promise to never leave nor forsake us, no matter what!
(6.) We have His promise of peace and joy in this life.
(7.) We gain eternal life and ALL its magnificent treasures! None of this happens because we earned it or deserved it. It is all God’s gift because of His endearing and enduring love for us!
Justification, see (2.), in the Bible, is the free forgiveness of sinners. Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: [KJV] . . . God accepts us as righteous through the righteousness of Christ when we receive Him by faith! When God “justifies” a sinner through Christ, He is gracious to him or her, but still at the same time God is just to Himself and His law.
• Forgiving sin, declaring us not guilty.
Isaiah 38:17 Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. (KJV) . . . God’s love and grace is made so clear to us through His forgiveness of all our sins. There are times when God allows sickness to come to us. And, when we are sick, we tend to consider how much time on Earth we have left. What should concern us more, is how we shall get safely from here to another world (Heaven), or in other words, the condition (health) of our souls. The more we experience the loving kindness of God, the more our hearts will love Him, and live for Him.
Christ loved our poor perishing souls so much that He rescued them. This pardon does not make our sin less, or not to have been, but it is just that God does not punish that sin as it deserves to be punished. It is so sweet to recover from sickness, and sweeter still when we see (and feel) God’s grace flowing from the pardon of sin. Life and health are given that we may glorify our Almighty God and do good works in His Name! We should abound in praising and serving God every day that we live!
When God pardons our sin, He exonerates the sinner from the law that condemns us. The word ‘exonerate’ can be replaced with many other words: justify, acquit, excuse, absolve, clear, frees from blame, etc. For it is ONLY because of the work of Christ, that God removes the guilt of sin, and the sinner's liability to God’s eternal wrath on account of it. All sins are forgiven freely when we trust Jesus to save us. Sinners (you and I) are by God’s wondrous grace forever freed from the guilt and penalty of our sins. This is one of the mysterious rights of God, and it is offered to ALL in the Gospel, and we should be forever grateful!
Acts 13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: (KJV) . . . Only by this man Christ Jesus is there forgiveness for your sins.
1 John 1:6-9 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV) . . . Only the precious Blood of Jesus washes us as white as new fallen snow (Isa.1:18). God truly does love us! He does so much for us, giving us peace of mind, heart and soul; joy, comfort, guidance, forgiveness and so much more; and then eternal life in Heaven one sweet day!
Psalm 130:4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. (KJV) . . . Fear means to revere, honor and respect; give Him His rightful place.
• God’s love made clear in Chastisements.
Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. (KJV) . . . Which father loves his child more? The father who allows his child to do things that will hurt him, or the one who corrects, trains and even punishes his child to help him learn what is right? It is never pleasant to be corrected and disciplined by our earthly fathers, and our Spiritual Father is no different. But, any time that God disciplines us, it is a sign of His deep love for us. When God corrects you, it is proof of His love. Ask Him to reveal to you just what it is He is trying to teach you.
God’s children should not give way under their trials of Divine chastisements. We should never make light of His corrections and be without feeling about them, for they are from the hand and rod of God. He is rebuking us for our sin. Nor should we brood over nor fret, but hang in there with faith and patience. God may let unbelievers alone in their sins, but He will correct His own children. If we are His child through His Son Jesus, God is the Father of our soul! He will never willingly grieve nor afflict His children without good reason. When He does correct us, it will always be for our benefit and our spiritual good.
There are several ways in which we can respond to God’s loving discipline:
(1.) We can submit to Him and accept it.
(2.) We can have a ‘pity party’ saying: “ I don’t deserve this.”
(3.) We can get mad and resent God.
(4.) We can accept it, and thank Him.
HOW do YOU respond to God’s discipline?
• God’s love gives us the Holy Spirit.
Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (KJV) . . . All three Persons of our Triune God are involved in our salvation. God, the Father loved us so much that He sent His Son to be the Bridge between God and sinners.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [KJV] . . . God the Son, loved us so much that He willingly consented to come and sacrifice His life to redeem us. The Father and the Son together, sent the Holy Spirit to fill our lives with love and to help us to live by His power.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. [KJV] . . . As I have said in other books, power from the Holy Spirit is not just common strength as we know it. It also includes ability, boldness, courage, confidence, discernment or insight and authority. As disciples of Jesus, we need all these gifts to do our job of being His witnesses. If you totally trust in Christ Jesus, you have the Holy Spirit abiding in you, and you can experience His amazing love and power in your life.
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. [KJV] . . . With all this wonderful loving care, how can we possibly not love God nor want to serve Him? If we have any hope for God’s glory after this life, we should have enough hope to rejoice now, knowing God will fulfill ALL His promises! All our hopes will never crumble nor disappoint, because they are sealed with the God’s Holy Spirit of love. The amazing grace and work of the blessed Spirit is to make clear to us the love of God in our hearts. God’s love for us should NEVER make us ashamed, either about our hope, or our sufferings and persecution for Him. Praise Him!
• Saints should abide in.
Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. [KJV] . . . We are to keep ourselves in God’s love, meaning to live close to God and His people. Don’t listen to false teachers who will try to pull you away from God.
John 15:9-10 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. [KJV] . . . We show our love to Him by willingly obeying His commandments (Mat. 22:37-40). Christ’s love for us should guide us to loving each other. We must watch over one another faithfully; and cautiously warn us when we see one go astray. We should set a good example for all those around us. We must show compassion, but discern the difference between weak and willful souls. Some we must treat with tenderness and mercy, while others we may have to stress the terrors of the Lord and Hell. We must keep as far as possible from what is, or appears to be evil. Our commandments! Love God is #1. Love each other is #2. (Mat.22:37-40).
THE LOVE OF GOD
IS PERFECTED IN SAINTS
Chapter 3
Remember, “saints” (God’s children) are ALL those who believe God and accept His Way of salvation . . . His only begotten Son, Jesus. I will list some of the Scripture references that tell us this fact. There is NOTHING any of us can ever do to become a “saint” on our own, nor can another human being designate, or make us a “saint,”. . . ONLY Jesus! (Acts 9:13, 32, 41; 26:10; Rom. 1:7; 8:27; 12:13; 15:25-26, 31; 16:2, 15; 1 Cor. 1:2; 6:1; 14:33; 16:1, 15; 2 Cor. 1:1; 8:4; 9:1, 12; 13:13; Eph. 1:1, 15, 18; 2:19; 3:8, 18; 5:3; 6:18; Col. 1:4, 12, 26; 1 Thes. 3:13; Heb. 6:10; Jude 1:3, 14; Rev. 8:3-4; 11:18; 13:7, 10; 14:12; 15:3; 16:6; 17:6; 18:24). Don’t take my word for it, check out what God has to say!
• God’s love perfected by our obedience.
1 John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. [KJV] . . . Is there any way we can be sure that we belong to Christ? This verse tells us we must do what Christ says and live as He wants us to live. Just what is it that Jesus wants us to do? God tells us.
1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. [KJV] . . . IF you are a TRUE Christian, you will have a loving attitude and loving behavior. The way we act gives us assurance that we belong to Christ. IF your heart is right with God, you can’t help but love! God’s love is perfected in those who keeps His commandments. God’s grace will reach its true mark, producing a loving effect in us. Although NONE of us will ever be absolutely ‘perfect’ here in this life, God’s love and holiness will keep perfecting us day by day, making us more like Jesus!
The “command” to love one another has been in force from the beginning of the world; yet it is called a “new commandment” to Christians.
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. [KJV] . . . Anyone who walks (lives their lives) in hatred and malice is NOT a Christian. They are led by none other than Satan, NOT by God! The hatred in the world today is awful! God loves ALL people, no matter their race, color or ethnic background. Yet there are so-called or supposed “Christian” groups (white supremacists) out there hating and even killing Jews and minorities. White people do NOT have a special place in God’s heart above and beyond people of the black, Asian, Spanish or Jewish race, etc. I have seen some white people with the blackest hearts imaginable; and some black people with wonderful, good, tender and loving hearts. We CANNOT judge people, for all we see is the outside; we know nothing of what is truly in people’s hearts.
Matthew 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. [KJV] . . . Jesus words! He tells it like it is! Hypocrites! They were like whitewashed tombs, beautiful on the outside but filled on the inside with all sorts of impurity. True Christian love teaches us to value our brother’s soul, and to despise everything that would cause him to sin and take away his peace. Yes! We are allowed to hate . . . all the things that God hates. But, if we allow any spiritual darkness (sin, evil) to stay in our minds, we are allowing Satan to rule us, and his darkness will cloud our judgment and our conscience, and our hearts will be hardened. Some will mistakenly think they are on their way to Heaven. We should examine and judge ourselves in earnest prayer, and see where we go astray from the teaching of the Bible, and how to get on the right road.
1 Cor. 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. [KJV] . . . If we judge and correct ourselves, God won’t have to do it! Seriously consider any unconfessed sin or resentful attitude within you, and put them out of your life forever. Shed any hate or malice and put on LOVE! There is NO place in the life of a TRUE Christian for hatred of others.
• God’s love perfected by brotherly love.
1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. [KJV] . . . You might ask: “If no one has ever seen God, how can we know him?”
John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. [KJV] . . . Jesus is the complete picture of God in human form and He has revealed God to us, along with God’s Holy Word! When we love one another, the invisible unseen God reveals Himself to others . . . through us, thus making His love perfect in us.
Some people make friends with strangers easily and always are surrounded by people. Others are shy or reserved, have few friends; they are very uncomfortable talking with people they don’t know or mingling in crowds. Shy people do not need to become outgoing in order to love others. John is not telling us how many people to love, but how much to love the people we already know, and to faithfully love the people God has given us to love; whether there are a couple or a hundred. If we are ready to love others, God will bring them to us! No matter how shy or backward we are, God provides us with strength to do the job He has for us. In God’s eyes, a loving Christian is a perfect Christian; for it is love that generously oils the wheels of His affections. But . . . if you have any hostility, bitterness or ill will, the job God sets before you will always be done badly. Always do God’s will and work with love and compassion and willingness.
God dwells in us and we in Him, and this is only possible by the Holy Spirit? If we are truly children of God, we truly want to call God our Father. Love God and His children, hate sin and all else that goes against God’s will, and have a willing desire to always do His will. With such, God is well pleased!
*** ALWAYS AND ONLY ***
Always and only, His will we should do,
Yet as naughty children, we are not true.
We follow paths, He wants us not to take,
Then too, wrong decisions, we always make.
His will in our life, always and only,
Trusting Him always; gives less agony.
He knows what is best for one and for all,
And He’ll be there, if we stumble and fall.
Always and only; His will should come first,
Lack of trust, may bring sorrows to be nurs’d.
Have faith in His wisdom and His power,
Our God’s will is best, no matter the hour.
Do you ever think you can do it yourself?
Then end up in a mess, without His help?
If it’s not His will, troubles dominate,
All done to His glory, will not frustrate.
His will we should do, only and always,
He then showers with blessings, all our days.
Doing the will of God from the heart,
As servants of Christ, that we ne’er depart.
Teach me to do thy will, always, only,
For thou art my God, please grant me mercy.
As on Earth we walk, God we should please,
Not as pleasing men; but God to appease.

By: His servant, Connie Kramer # 1059 Mar.29, 2005
We are required to witness to others about the saving power of Jesus! We do not want to one day stand before the Almighty Judge and have Him ask us: “Why didn’t you tell that person about Me?”
I think at times we all stray from doing God’s will. We do things our way, then fall flat on our face! We should realize God’s will for us is always best.
• God’s love is perfected in the source of our love to him.
1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us. [KJV] . . . For those of you who have seen a brush or grass fire burn on a hot day after a long hard drought; you know how a fire can take over and consume all in its path, and little can be done to stop it. God’s love is like this if we want it and allow it to work! It spreads like wild fire! God’s love is the source of all human love, and it spreads like fire, from one of His children to another. God kindles a flame in our hearts, we then love others, who are warmed by God’s love through us. God’s love is in the hearts of ALL Christians by means of the Holy Spirit whom God sends to abide with us the moment we accept Christ as Saviour and Lord of our lives. The love of God in Christ, is in the hearts of Christians from the Spirit, is proof of our conversion. If we profess to love God, and yet harbor anger, malice, revenge, or a selfish disposition or bitter attitude, we are liars! Our natural resentment and hostility must be changed into love, affection and gratitude, and IF we don’t change, we are no different than false professors, who pretend to love God, whom they have not seen, yet hate their brethren, whom they have seen. We must have the Holy Spirit abiding within us or we are NONE of His, for we cannot continue to practice sinful things when God lives in us!
Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. [KJV] . . . Do you want God’s love? Do you love God? Do you want to go to Heaven? Have you truly repented and accepted Jesus as your Saviour and Lord? Do you love ALL your brothers and sisters in Christ, no matter what their color or race? You can fool people, but you cannot fool Almighty God! He knows what you really feel! We cannot hide anything from God!
• Seek God’s love in prayer.
2 Cor. 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. [KJV] . . . In this, Paul’s farewell blessing, he calls upon all three Members of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son (the Lord Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Grace is kindness and mercy we don’t deserve, love and fellowship is Paul’s prayer for the Corinthians; but God wants this for us as well! ASK HIM FOR IT!
God is the Author of peace and Lover of harmony and unity; He loves us, and He wants to be at peace with us, but this peace comes ONLY when we believe God and accept His Way (Romans 5:1). Our constant aim should be to do His will, and live as He wants us to live. His wish is that we may partake of all the benefits which Christ in His free grace and favor purchased for us; the Father out of His free love has designed ; and the Holy Spirit freely applies and bestows (Ephesians 1:1-14). True Christian relationships are based on loving, sharing, compassion, caring and witnessing.
CHRIST’S LOVE MADE CLEAR
Chapter 4
• UNMISTAKABLE BY HIS:
• Coming to seek the lost.
Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. [KJV] . . . People wondered and muttered when Jesus went home with the tax collector Zacchaeus. Tax collectors were considered awful sinners to the Jews. But even though Zacchaeus was both a cheat and a betrayer, Jesus loved him; and in response to Jesus, he was converted. All over the world, certain groups of people are considered “horrible sinners” because of their political views, their immoral behavior or their life-style. Should we turn our backs on such people? NO! Jesus loves them, and He wants them to hear His Good News, and we as God’s children must tell them!
Any time that Christ comes to a person, He opens their heart, and influences that heart to receive Him. If you are searching for Jesus and have a mind to know Him, you shall ‘find’ Him; but if you reject that tugging at your heart, He shall turn away. Christ will NEVER force Himself upon you! Anyone whom Christ calls, must humble themselves, and receive Him with great joy. Zacchaeus gave public proofs that he was sincere. He was happy when he turned from sin to God, as are ALL those who truly accept Jesus! We are saved from our sins, from the guilt we have because of our sins, from the power of sins, from the penalty of sins, and ALL the benefits of salvation are ours! When Christ comes, He brings salvation with Him. He came to this lost world to seek and save it, for there is NO salvation in any other person; just Jesus.
*** JESUS, AND JESUS ALONE ***
Jesus paid the full and total price,
His own sinless Self did sacrifice.
He died on that Cross on Calv’ry’s path,
Only this great work relieved God’s wrath.
Jesus work on the Cross; this alone,
For all our sins, did fully atone.
Never by works done by you and me,
Nothing we do pays sin’s penalty.
All have sinned ‘fore Almighty God,
None is righteous, as Earth they trod.
From all sin does God hide His holy Face,
Only ‘JESUS’ can bring us to His grace!
We must believe ALL that God does say,
And not try to find ‘another’ way!
In His ‘Book’ the record is good and true,
ONLY HIS SON can save and rescue.
“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,”
Friend, without Jesus, you shall have strife.
NO ONE gets to the Father in Heav’n,
Except by His Son, whom He hath giv’n.
Just Jesus, alone, not one thing more,
Will get you to that Heav’nly shore.
Nary a work; nor person so great,
Will get you a passport to Heav’n’s gate.
You must accept Jesus, He alone,
For no one else, your sins can atone!
If you won’t believe God; He gives Hell,
And there for eternity, you shall dwell.

(Mt.26:28; 27:46; Heb.7:25-27; 9:11-12,22-24; 10:10-12;
Ro.3:23; 1 Jn.5:10-12; 2 P.2:4-9; Jn.14:6)
The Bible tells us that God the Father, in His endless wisdom, devised ONLY ONE WAY to have our sins forgiven, and to access Heaven; that being His one and only begotten Son, Jesus! We must tell others of this love with no partiality that reaches out to ALL people!
• Unmistakable by praying for His enemies.
Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. [KJV] . . . Christ was in deepest disgrace; suffering in horrible agony as He hung on that Cross. Though He was in the greatest mental struggle and physical agony, Jesus begged His Father to forgive those who had crucified Him. Consider one thing: had Jesus not done this, all those there, the religious leaders, all the Jews who had cried “Crucify Him,” Pilate, Herod, the Roman soldiers, would have been guilty of a sin that could not have been pardoned because they had crucified the Son of GOD! Another thing to think about: what about us? Do you think we are any better than anyone who was present on that day? NO WAY!
By His tremendous love, Christ Jesus died to open the Kingdom of Heaven to all repentant, obedient believers. Can you ask God to forgive those who betray and do you wrong? Can you pray for your enemies? THAT is the kind of love Jesus has for us!
• Washing away our sins.
Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, [KJV] . . . The Blood of Jesus is a most precious thing! When we are washed in “His own Blood,” we are loosed or freed from our sins.
Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. [KJV] . . . When Jesus died on that Cross, He gave His life’s Blood for us all! No wonder God’s wrath is aroused when people reject what His only begotten Son did for us. “The life of the flesh is in the blood.” We MUST have blood within us, or we are not alive physically. So too, we MUST have the precious Blood of Jesus or we will NEVER have eternal life, spiritually in Heaven.
1 Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: [KJV] . . . The Blood of Jesus is indeed most precious, and we CANNOT get to Heaven without it!
If you do not know Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, accept Him and His amazing love this very day! The longer you reject Him, the harder your heart becomes, until one day, God will finally give up on you. You don’t want that!
Proverbs 6:15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy. [KJV] . . . One day those who reject Jesus will be destroyed suddenly, broken beyond all hope of healing. God should be “feared” (reverenced, respected, and believed). God’s Spirit shall not always strive with man (Gen.6:3). BEWARE!!! A day is coming when there shall be a famine of God’s Word (Amos 8:11).
• Christ’s love intercedes for us.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. [KJV] . . . No one can add to what Jesus did to save us. Our past, present and future sins are all forgiven. Jesus is united with the Father as a sign that our sins are forgiven. If you have accepted Christ and His Work, remember that He has paid the price for your sins once and for all.
Christ Jesus is our High Priest (Heb.3:1; 8), our Advocate (1 John 2:1) and our Mediator (1 Tim.2:5) between God and us. With great love, He looks after our interests and intercedes for us with God. The Old Testament high priest went before God only once a year to plead for the forgiveness of the nation’s sins; Christ makes CONTINUOUS intercession before God for us. Christ’s ceaseless Presence in Heaven with God the Father assures us that our sins have been paid for and forgiven!
Romans 8:33-34 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. [KJV] . . . Christ Jesus is the One who died for us and was raised to life for us and is sitting at the place of highest honor next to God, pleading for us. This is wonderful assurance that frees us from guilt and from fear of failing. The souls of ALL believers have safety and happiness, for our loving, everlasting High Priest is able to save us “to the uttermost,” in all times, things and cases.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. [KJV] . . . To the uttermost means there are absolutely NO limits whatsoever with Jesus! No matter what you have done in the past, He CAN save you! And when He has saved you, you are saved forever! And when you do sin, He intercedes for you before the Throne of Almighty God the Father!
***MY ADVOCATE***
Satan stands firm in accusing me,
Of all my sins and iniquities.
But I need not worry ‘bout my fate,
For in Heav’n, I have an Advocate!
Satan accuses with mighty roars,
But he’ll never keep me from Heav’n’s door.
My Advocate always takes my side,
I’m secure, what e’er may betide!
The devil accuses constantly,
I’m weak, and full of iniquity.
But my Advocate by me does stand,
An ultimate blessing, O so grand!
Satan’s accusations never quit,
But the Blood of Jesus does acquit.
My Advocate the Father will hear,
With Him on my side, I’ve nought to fear!
Tho’ Satan accuses, I have won,
The Father findeth no wrong I’ve done!
My wondrous Advocate stands up for me,
Frees me from sins and iniquity!
Tho’ my disquieted foe accuses,
God won’t hear him, He simply refuses.
Satan names all my sins, one by one,
Christ’s Blood paid for them all; I have won.

Jn.8:44; 13:2; 17:11; 1 P.1:5; 5:7-8; 1 Jn.2:1; 2 Tim.1:12;
Jude 24; Heb.2:17; 4:14-15; 5:5; 7:25-27; 8:1; 10:19-23)
What an awesome Saviour and Lord we have! He paid the debt we could NEVER pay --- the penalty of sin, and then, He ascended into Heaven and now sits at God’s right Hand, taking our side before the Father! Even when Satan rightfully accuses us of sins, Jesus is there pleading our case! Please tell others about Jesus!
• Christ’s love clear by sending the Spirit.
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. [KJV] . . . It is expedient or it is better and beneficial for us that Jesus went away because He sent the Holy Spirit. Jesus had to do all that He did or there would be no Gospel (Good News). He had to die, or He could not remove our sins; He had to rise again in order to have victory over death. He had to go back to the Father, or the Holy Spirit would not come.
Christ’s Presence on Earth was limited to one place at a time because He was a Man. When He ascended to Heaven and sent the Holy Spirit, it meant He could be present everywhere at the same time through the Holy Spirit. The Spirit’s coming was the ‘fruit’ of Christ’s death.
• Christ’s love passes our knowledge, our ability to understand.
Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. [KJV] . . . God’s love is total and complete. It reaches out to every corner of our lives (body and soul). It is so wide; it covers the extent of our experience, and reaches out to the whole world. God’s love is so long; it continues the length of our lives, here and in eternity. It is so high; it rises above our highest dreams. His love is so deep; it reaches to our deepest discouragement, despair, sorrow and even death. When you feel shut out or isolated by mankind; remember that you can never be lost to God’s love.
How powerful is the love of Christ! It extends to all nations and ranks; continues from everlasting to everlasting; saving those who are sunk into the deepest mires of sin and misery; raising them up to eternal joy, happiness and glory. Knowing this should satisfy ALL people, but so many try to achieve all these blessings on their own; and that is IMPOSSIBLE! We MUST have Jesus to complete our happiness? Do you desire to have the love of God in Christ in your soul!
• Christ’s love to be imitated.
John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. [KJV] . . . This is Jesus’ command to TRUE believers: LOVE! (Mat.22:36-40). We MUST love each other or we are NOT god’s children.
Eph. 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. [KJV] . . . We should imitate Jesus, NOT mortal man. His great love for us led him to lay down His life that we might live. We should love with this kind of love; a love far beyond affection to self-sacrificing service. Because God, for Christ’s sake, has forgiven us, we should imitate Him, especially in His love and forgiveness.
The sinless Sacrifice that Jesus offered on the Cross was done in such great love for the whole world; and God accepted it whole-heartedly. We must never reject this awesome love of our Saviour. Anyone who does reject Jesus’ love, brings on God’s holy wrath.
CHRIST’S LOVE TO BELIEVERS
Chapter 5
Christ’s love to believers is:
• Unquenchable.
Song 8:7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned. [KJV] . . . Contemned means scorned, despised, rejected. Christ’s love is as strong as death; it cannot be killed by time or any disaster; cannot be bought for any price, for it is GIVEN to whosoever! Love is our most priceless possession, it must be accepted as a gift from God and then shared with others. Those who truly love Christ, despise everything that would draw them away from Him. When we love Christ, we may fear coming short of His love, or being tempted to forsake Him, but NO waters can quench Christ’s love for us, NO floods can drown it. Let nothing decrease or come between our love to Him. Loving Christ will enable us to triumph over any and all temptations; for our love to Him is like a tree planted by a river, in deep, rich, fertile soil. We grow stronger in Him day by day!
Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. [KJV]
***My Greatest Treasure***
My Greatest Treasure, blesses me each day.
Ne’er does He depart, as I walk my way.
He tells me, He will ne’er leave nor forsake,
Tis true, for of His Spirit I partake.
Jesus, is the Greatest Treasure to me,
His righteousness, set my sin-sick soul free.
He justified me, making me God’s friend,
Gives to me, life in Heav’n, with no end.
Jesus is worth more to me, than silver or gold,
And more precious stones, than a truck could hold.
Alongside Christ, worldly riches mean nothing,
Just knowing He’s near, is a great blessing.
My Greatest Treasure, leads, guides and directs,
And He’s always close by, me to protect.
His awesome pow’r comes thru’, when I am weak,
He’s with me always, so I need not seek.
My Greatest Treasure, floods my soul with love,
Which I need, in this world of push and shove.
His abundant love, is shed upon me,
As I walk with Him, to eternity.
My Greatest Treasure, is so merciful.
His compassion to me, is wonderful.
When Judgment Day comes, I will have no fear,
For the Judge, my Greatest Treasure, is near.
God’s Word states, that Jesus is many things,
Redeemer, Saviour, Prophet, Priest and King.
But He is the Greatest Treasure, to me,
Freely gifting me, with life eternally.

Rom.8:9; Heb.3:5; 1 Cor.1:39; 5:1-10; Mat.6:20; 1 Tim.6:10; Eph.1:7; Tit.2:13-14; 1 Tim.1:10; Deut.18:15; Acts 3:22-23; Heb.9:11; 1 Tim.2:5; 1 Jn.2:1; Mat.2:2; 21:9; 27:11 Eternal Life in Heaven is the GIFT of God: (Mat.7:11; John 3:16; 4:10; 6:32; Acts 15:11; Rom.5:15, 18; 6:23; 8:32; 2 Cor.9:15; Eph.2:8-9; 1 John 4:9; 5:11)
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)
• Christ’s love controls us.
2 Cor. 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: [KJV] . . . When we become TRUE Christians, we should no longer live to please ourselves; we should spend our lives pleasing Christ, who died for us to save us from God’s wrath. A TRUE Christian’s life should be devoted to Christ. But, oh, it’s so sad to see so many ‘professing’ Christians (actually hypocrites) living only for themselves and chasing after ‘things’ of the world!
• Christ’s love can’t be dissolved.
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [KJV] . . . This verse declares God’s deep love for His people. No matter what happens, no matter where we are, we can never be lost to His love. Suffering should not drive us away from God, but instead TO Him. We should allow His love to reach us and heal us, for it is impossible to be separated from Christ. His death for us is proof of this! Nothing can stop Christ’s constant Presence with us. Do not send your spirit into a tizzy and confuse your thoughts as you doubt whether Christ loves you. Do NOT let Satan get a foothold like that! Instead, when you have any doubts whatsoever, RUN TO JESUS! Troubles can NEVER lessen His love. NOTHING can take Christ from the believer, and NOTHING can take the believer from Him! (John 10:27-30).
• Christ’s love illustrated.
Matthew 18:11-13 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. 12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. [KJV] . . . We, as sheep tend to go astray and get lost. We drift into sin, but Jesus and His love is there to restore us. When we consider the skill and malice of Satan; and our weakness and depraved hearts, we know there will be times we will stray and offend God. We ‘backslide.’ I think God permits this for wise reasons, for there are those who are sincere, and those who are not. Too, I think He wants to see just how much we love Him, and to see if we will return to Him on our own. BEWARE!!! There will always be seducers, tempters and bad examples, so we must always be on guard.
• No separation from Christ’s love.
[KJV] . . . Powers like the forces of evil in the Universe, under control of Satan and his fallen angels are mighty.
Eph. 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. [KJV] . . . But, no matter how powerful they are, Christ is greater!
1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. [KJV] . . . If you are God’s child through Jesus, NOTHING can ever separate you from His amazing love; and it is ALWAYS there to protect you!
**** HE’LL BE THERE ***
In your most trying time, He’ll be there,
Because our Lord Jesus truly cares!
Pain or sorrow, temptation or stress,
His abiding Presence will always bless!
He’ll be there, when you need wisdom and pow’r,
With the strength of Christ, you need not cow’r!
He’ll guide on right roads both night and day,
And will come thru’ with right words to say!
He’ll be there, in the clouds, one day soon,
It could be morn’ or night, or maybe noon.
We know not when we’ll hear His great shout,
Calling God’s children, from round about!
He’ll be there, sure, at the Judgment Seat,
One day our Almighty Judge we’ll meet!
Reward or loss? when our works He’ll try,
For that ‘reward,’ will you qualify?
He’ll be there, on Heaven’s blissful shore,
Where we will for ever, our Lord adore!
He’ll be there, in glory and majesty,
Where we will praise Him for eternity!

There is NO way to run from God’s Presence; He’s everywhere! But if you are His child, you certainly do NOT want to run from Him . . . you want to run only TO Him!
This poem, the next three and God’s Great Love, God gave me especially for this book. I pray I am doing as He wishes with all the poems He gives me.
*** NO MATTER WHAT ***
No matter what, you can be forgiv’n,
Your eternal home, can be in Heav’n.
But our holy God, you must believe,
His beloved Son, you must receive!
No matter what, God’s great love is there,
Free and abundant, because He cares!
But our wondrous God, you must obey,
And walk with Christ in the narrow way.
No matter what, God’s mercy is near,
Penalty of sin, we need not fear.
Christ paid our debt, as He hung on the Cross,
But, if you reject Him, Heav’n is lost!
No matter what, you can sense God’s grace,
And one day soon, you can see His Face.
But you must be “born again” Christ states,
Or the pits of Hell shall be your fate.
God forgives, no matter what we’ve done,
But you must trust Jesus, God’s only Son!
His precious Blood will wash you white as snow,
And generous blessings He will bestow!
No matter what, your past you can shed,
All those horrid sins, that cause you dread.
God will forgive, if our sins we confess,
He removes our guilt as He does bless!
No matter what, you can feel God’s love,
Everlasting and true; from above!
No sin is too great for Him to cast out,
But we must obey, and go the right route!

Scripture references: Ps.130:4; Acts 5:31; 13:38; 26:18; Ep.1:7; Jam.5:15; 1 Jn.1:9.
There is only one sin God won’t forgive; blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (refusing to believe God when His Spirit urges you). No matter what else, He’ll forgive! If you don’t know Jesus for the full pardon of your sins, and eternal life in Heaven one day, turn to Him NOW!
*** NO CLOSED DOORS ***
There’s no closed door to God’s wondrous love,
It’s never ending and true, from above!
That love is there, for you and for me,
God gives thru’ Jesus, so abundantly!
There’s no lock on the door to God’s grace,
It’s always open, our sins to erase!
It’s available, to all who believe,
When God’s precious Son they do receive!
The door’s always open, to God’s mercy,
For our precious Saviour holds the ‘key.’
Only Christ can open that door so wide,
That we can access God’s mercy inside!
There’s no closed door to God’s wondrous Throne,
But we must access thru’ Jesus alone!
We can go to the Father, day or night,
And ask in pray’r that He aid in our plight.
The door to forgiveness is always open,
God forgives thru’ Christ, again and again!
We can go to God when we transgress,
Forgiveness is ours, as He does bless.
Christ Jesus has control of ev’ry door,
All are open to what God has in store.
But we must always trust and abide,
To receive the blessings God holds inside!
We as God’s children have so much to gain,
Awesome blessings thru’ Christ we can attain.
Jesus opens all the doors to God so wide,
And gives to us eternal life besides!

Do any of us thank God as we should?
*** DO YOU THANK HIM?? ***
Do you thank Him for His wondrous love?
Do you praise our God in Heaven above?
Are you grateful for what He’s done for you?
Only our Lord, could show love this true!
Do you thank Him for His love each day?
Do you praise Him for His excellent ways?
Are you glad He’s called you to be His own?
Only God could make such great love known!
Do you thank Him for His amazing grace?
Do you praise Him for your sins erased?
Do you show honor to His Holy Name?
God gives great promises we can claim!
Do you thank Him for His love divine?
Do you praise Him for His care so fine?
Do you go to Him in heart-felt prayer?
For ALL His children, He’s always there!
His wonderful love is everlasting,
A remarkable ‘gift’; such a blessing!
Heaven is ours, ‘tis as good as done,
Because of the love of God’s own Son!

Closing prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I praise you for all you do for me. Your exceptional love reaches down to the lowest sinner. How I thank you for your amazing grace that never ceases; and your constant mercy that extends to all who will humble themselves before you. Your forgiveness relieves the burden that lays heavy on my heart.
Most gracious Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending Your only begotten Son to save us from a disastrous fate in Hell. I thank you Jesus for the immense love you showed to us while we were yet still sinners. I thank you Jesus that you lowered yourself, all for the likes of me. I thank you for making a way possible for me to access the most Holy Father in Heaven. I thank you that someday I’ll have a Home in Heaven with you for eternity. But most of all I thank you Jesus, for your vast and never ending love you bestow upon us day after day; granting mercy, grace, peace, joy, wisdom and guidance to live a life that is pleasing to you. It is in the precious Name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
REASONS TO BELIEVE IN JESUS!
There are 3 things we must know about Jesus! (1.) Who He is. (2.) What He claims. (3.) Proofs He can show.
(1.) Jesus is the Son of God; the only person ever born of a virgin. (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:26-35).Jesus is the only Person who lived eternally in Heaven before He lived physically (John 17:5). Jesus is GOD!
(2.) Jesus claimed ‘oneness’ with the Father (John 3:13-16; 10:30, 38; 14:9-11; 17:11,22. Jesus is GOD!
(3.) Proof is through His many miracles He performed while on Earth, His being Creator (John 1:1-3; 1 Cor. 8:6; Eph.3:9; Col.1:14-16; Heb.1:2), but especially His being raised from the dead (Acts 2:23-24; 3:14-15; 4:33; 10:39-41; 17:2-3; Rom.1:4) and His ascension to Heaven (Luke 24:50-51; Acts 1:9).
Christ Jesus is indeed divine! He foretold future events and never made a mistake (Mat. 24:1-2; Mark 11:1-11; 14:13-16; John 21:1-11). He lived a completely sinless life (2 Cor.5:21; Heb. 4:15; 7:26; Peter 1:19; 2:22; 1 John 3:5). He fulfilled ALL Old Testament prophecies with complete accuracy: He was born of a virgin (Is.7:14), He was born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2), He was hated and rejected (Is.53:3), He rode a colt into the city (Zec.9:9), He was betrayed by a friend (Ps.41:9), He was sold for 30 pieces of silver (Zec.11:12-13), His Hands and Feet were pierced (Ps.22:16), He was mocked (Ps.22:6-8), there were no bones broken (Ps.34:20), thgey gambled for His clothing (Ps.22:18), He was given gall and vinegar ( 69:21), He was buried with the rich (Is.53:9), He was resurrected (Ps.16:10), He ascended into Heaven (Ps.68:18).
We must believe! Only Jesus can save us! There are none too bad that they can’t go to Him, nor none too good that they shouldn’t go to Him! Only Jesus can save us!
