"Damnable Heresies" of "Another Gospel"

The Roman Catholic Church preaches and teaches "another gospel," and their Jesus is absolutely "another Jesus." The apostle Paul utterly condemns this! 2 Cor.11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. (KJV) Galatians 1:6-8 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (KJV) . . . Accursed means anathema, dedicated to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment. What Paul is actually saying is, that any one or any church preaching "another gospel" should "go to Hell"! Strong words, strong condemnation, for a very strong and evil offense. BUT . . . Rome has been preaching "another gospel" for 1,400 years, and the TRUE Jesus has been DENIED all those years!

Consider the doctrines of the Roman Catholic "another gospel": Mary worship, transubstantiation, the Mass, rosaries, scapulars, novenas, the false priesthood, idolatry, purgatory, indulgences, etc., etc. Instead of reproving the unfruitful works of darkness, they keep on in them! Eph. 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (KJV)

Rome's cardinals, bishops, monsignors, priests, monks and nuns, along with every single Catholic, must pay their allegiance to the pope. He is NOT to be questioned by anyone and must be obeyed by all. That too is "another gospel" that is NOT in the Holy Word of God! TRUE Christians are to pay allegiance ONLY to Almighty God!

“The Pope can make and unmake laws for the entire Church: his authority is supreme and unquestioned. Every bishop, every priest, every member of the Church is subject to him” (My Catholic Faith, Morrow, 251).

Rome is well known for hiding her real purpose. She straddles the fence and uses her own people to further her cause. Catholic Apologists attack TRUE Christians calling us “heretics” and “ignorant,” yet they furiously fight for “unity”. My question: HOW can a TRUE evangelical Christian be united with this evil and unbiblical church? The answer is: we CANNOT! NOT if we want to please Almighty God and obey His Holy Word!

It wasn’t that long ago that the Roman Catholic church condemned the Salvation Army. A former priest writes about it:
“Roman Catholics have been taught to abhor the word “Protestant”. It is one of the tricks of Rome to prevent them from studying and accepting pure Christianity. An American student in the theological Seminary of Montreal once asked his professor why the Salvation Army was condemned by the Roman Catholic church. The learned professor answered in three Latin words: ‘Quia sentit Protestantismum—(Because it smells Protestantism)’ ” (I Was A Priest , Vinet, 134)

SO . . . what happened??? The Salvation Army is an integral part of the universal Christian Church, although distinctive in government and practice. . . . (taken from their web site). ???"Universal" Christian Church??? That would INCLUDE Catholics, because Catholics consider themselves "Christians" and NOT a cult. To me, Catholics are a "Mary Cult."

You will see from the attached however that our position is that of support for the Roman Catholic Church as with other Christian groups. That includes respect for their doctrines and practices and, as opportunity allows, sharing in corporate worship and public events of an ecumenical nature. Internationally, we particularly share a relationship with the Roman Catholic Church through our membership on the Conference of Secretaries of Christian World Communions on which the Roman Catholic Church is represented by the secretary of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. I represent The Salvation Army at that conference. The current Roman Catholic representative has recently been named by the Vatican as Bishop Marc Oullet.

The Salvation Army "supports and respects the doctrines and practices of the Roman Catholic Church" by this admission. They respect and support Mary worship and the making of images and the bowing before them. They respect and support the doctrine of pagan purgatory! This is very disturbing. Can a TRUE Christian support the Salvation Army in good conscience, knowing that a Catholic priest or cardinal may be falsely witnessing to those who earnestly come seeking Truth? Are we expected to support ungodly Catholic teaching and their preaching false doctrines?

The Scriptures are filled with warnings NOT to be partakers of her sins (Rev.18:4), NOT to eat with them (1 Cor.5:11), NOT to bid them God speed (2 John 1:10-11), lest we be partakers with them in their sin and share in their plagues.

Idolatry is Forbidden by God: Gen.35:2; Ex.20:4; 23:13,24; 34:14,17; Lev.19:4; 26:1; Deut.4:16; 5:9; 11:16,22; 27:15; Psalm 81:9; Psalm 97:7; Isaiah 42:8; 42:17; 1 Cor.5:10; 6:9; 10:7,14; 2 Cor.6:16; Gal.5:20; 1 John 5:21; Rev.21:8.

If anyone does not bring the TRUE Gospel of Jesus Christ, do NOT receive him, do NOT accept him, do NOT welcome or admit him into your house with his "damnable heresies" (2 Pet.2:1), do NOT bid him God speed or give him any encouragement whatsoever! IF you wish him God speed, then YOU are a partaker in his evil doings. 2 John 1:10-11 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. It is very doubtful that the Salvation Army will reconsider its position of support for the doctrines of the Roman Catholic church. Roman Catholicism teaches falsely according to the Bible. If TRUE Christians do not stand up against the lies of the RCC, then millions of Catholics will perish because we have failed to preach the Truth to them. And too, maybe millions more will be deceived into believing that we must compromise to give way to unity.

A while ago, I emailed the Salvation Army and asked if they did indeed go along with the Catholic Church. They never answered me.

Ecumenicists point to Jesus' prayer to His Father in the Garden of Gethsemane for unity for His Church and His true followers. Yet, these ecumenicists fail to realize that the basis for this unity was Truth, the Truth of the Gospel, the very Truth that the Apostle John warned was being trampled by some (2 John 1:10-11, above).

Jesus agonizes in His "Lord's prayer" (John 17), that His followers stick to the Truth. He wants His Father to sanctify us, purify us, consecrate us, separate us from the world. Only God's Word is Truth! Man's vain and evil "commandments of men" (Mat.15:9) will NEVER sanctify us as God's children! (John 17:17-19).

Only after Jesus prays for TRUE believers does He then, and only then, pray the favorite prayer of the Ecumenicists . . . John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (KJV)

No TRUE Christian can unify with ungodly cults, based on what these wicked cults believe. There is NO way we could do that and still be pleasing to God! Such an agreement means to completely ignore the vast differences between false gospel and TRUE Gospel. This is sin of the Ecumenicist, and it is leading the entire world directly into the arms of the Antichrist.
