PROPHECIES CONCERNING THE FALSE CHURCH OF TODAY

FALSE CHRISTS AND FALSE PROPHETS BEFORE THE RAPTURE
Many will come professing to be Christ. (Mat.24:5)

HOW PEOPLE’S REACTION TO GOD’S WORD WOULD BE BEFORE THE RAPTURE
People would be ever learning but not able to understand the Truth. (2 Tim.3:7)
People would have corrupt minds. (2 Tim.3:8)
People would resist the Truth. (2 Tim.3:8)
These would be depraved, unprincipled, of corrupt minds. (1 Tim.6:5)
People do not plead for the Truth. (Isa.59:4)
People obey not the Truth. (Gal.3:1; 1 John 1:6)
People speak not the Truth. (Jer.9:5)
People would not endure sound doctrine. (1 Tim.1:10)
People would depart frm God. (Isa.59:13)

People would forget that the world was destroyed by water. (1 Pet.3:18-20)
People would gather around themselves teachers to say what they want to hear. (2 Tim.4:1-3)
1 Thes. 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. [14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. PEOPLE WOULD LEAVE THE FAITH, (FALLING AWAY, APOSTASY)
Some would forsake their faith in Jesus Christ. (Jer.2:21; 1 Tim.1:19; 5:12; Heb.3:12; 10:26; 2 Pet.2:21)
Some would sin willfully. (Heb.10:26)
Some would fall away from their faith in Jesus Christ. (2 Cor.2:3)

FALSE FORMS OF WORSHIP

Some would worship money, riches (covetousness). (Mat.6:24; Luke 16:13; Col. 3:5; Eph.5:5)
Only fools worship idols, NOT the wise! Rom.1:22-23 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, [23] And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. SPEAKING AGAINST GOD
Ungodly sinners would speak against God. (Ps.44:15-16; 74:10,18,22; Dan.7:25; 11:36; John 8:44; Acts 13:10; Eph.2:2; 2 Tim.3:2; 2 Pet.2:14; 1 John 3:10; 4:5; Rev.13:1,5; 16:11,21)
HOW EVIL PEOPLE WOULD BE
People would be ungodly and doing ungodly deeds. (Ps.5:9; 52:3; Isa.1:4; Rom.1:24,26,28; Eph.2:2-3; Col.3:6; 2 Tim.3:1-5; 2 Pet.2:14)
People would be unholy. (2 Tim.3:2,5)
People would live unclean, immoral lives. (Gen.13:13; Gen. chap.19; Lev.18:22; Isa.3:9; Mat. 5:28,32; Luke 17:29; Rom.1:24,26,28; 1 Tim.1:10; Rev.21:8,27)
Women would be laden with sins. (2 Tim.3:6)
The world would be increasingly evil. (Jer.

HOW THE PEOPLE WOULD BE OVERALL
People would love pleasures more than God. (2 Tim.3:4)
People would have an outer form of godliness but denying Jesus. (2 Tim.3:5)
People would be scoffers or mockers regarding the return of Jesus. (2 Pet. 3:3-4)
Some of God’s people would say, "My Lord delayeth His coming." (Mat.24:48; Luke 12:45; Acts 17:32; 2 Pet.3:3-4)
Very few people would be following God’s ways and be saved. (Luke 18:8)
HOW THE CLERGY WOULD BE
No Scripture verses for this topic. Just open your eyes and ears in today's world! You will see ALL the following are true.
Clergy would lie.
Clergy would commit adultery.
Clergy would molest children.
Clergy would live in sin.
Congregations would accept homosexual pastors.
Clergy would strength those who do evil, so that they do not repent.
Clergy would say: "I have dreamed."
Clergy would try to cause God’s people to forget His Name.
PERTAINING TO KNOWING THE TIMES
The wicked shall not understand the last days (time of the end).
Only those that read God's Word and obey Him (few Mat.7:13-14) will be watching for His Coming. The "many" will not understand the time of the end.
Most will not understand that the Coming of Jesus is very near.
WHAT PEOPLE WOULD BE LIKE
People would have no conscience of doing wrong. (1 Tim.4:2)
People would love themselves. (2 Tim.3:2)
People would be covetous and lovers of money. (2 Tim.3:2; 1 Tim.6:10)
People would be proud. (Rom.1:30; 2 Tim.3:2)
People would despise those that do good. (2 Tim.3:3)
People would be heady, high minded, conceited. (2 Tim.3:4)
People would be ever learning, but never able to understand the Truth. (2 Tim.3:7)
