Reassuring Promises of God
With Comments

I am including this extensive, far-reaching article in this topic of Hell, to try to show how to avoid the torments of an eternal Hell and reach out to a Saviour who alone has the key to Heaven.

Deuteronomy 32:6 Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee? (KJV) . . .  In a world where family betrays family member, and spouses cheat on one another, it is comforting and very encouraging to know that God never leaves us nor forsakes us. We sometimes forsake God but He never forsakes us and His love never fails. He never gives up on us.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (KJV) . . . Anxiety and worry can sometimes lead to fear, if it is not stopped. God tells us that we need NOT fear because He is our God and He Himself will strengthen us.  God will hold us up with His righteous right hand . . . meaning He is always there to strengthen us and hold us up.  If God holds us up, WHY should we fear?

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV) . . . Verily verily, I say unto you . . . any time that Jesus speaks these words, it is very wise to pay close attention, because it is VERY important! Jesus is the Amen, the faithful and true witness (Rev.3:14). He that heareth my word . . . this means His Gospel!  To hear, in this place, does NOT mean just the act of hearing, BUT . . . to receive it in a proper way; to allow it to make a proper impression on the mind and heart. It means to obey. The word hear is often used in this way. Matthew 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. (KJV)

John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. (KJV)
Acts 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. (KJV). . . Millions of people outwardly HEAR the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but they neither understand it NOR obey it, because they have absolutely NO desire to do so. And believeth on him that sent me . . . God the Father, in the plan of redemption, is represented as sending His Son to save men. John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (KJV) . . . Faith in God the Father, Who sent His Son, is here represented as being connected with everlasting life. BUT . . . there can be NO faith in the Father Who sent His Son, without having faith in Him Who is sent. The belief of one of the true doctrines of religion is connected with, and will lead to, the belief of all. Consider the following Passage:
1 John 5:10-13  He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV) . . . Do NOT call God a "liar'! BIG mistake! ETERNAL mistake!
Hath everlasting life . . .  the state of man by nature is represented as death in sin. Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; (KJV). . . Faith in Jesus is the opposite of death . . . it is LIFE . . . everlasting life! HATH = have it NOW! When a person is converted, it is said that he HAS everlasting life; NOT just shall have, but is already in possession of that life or happiness which shall never end. It is our new life begun, for we have already entered into our inheritance, which is everlasting.

Inheritance: John 14:2-3 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (KJV)

1 Peter 1:4-5 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (KJV)
1 Peter 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. (KJV)
Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (KJV)
Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. (KJV)
Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (KJV)
Galatians 3:18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. (KJV)
Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: (KJV)
Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. (KJV)
Ephesians 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, (KJV)
Colossians 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: (KJV)
Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (KJV)

Incorruptible: 1 Cor. 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. (KJV)
1 Cor. 15:52-54 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. (KJV)

Undefiled: Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. (KJV)

Fadeth not away: 1 Peter 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. (KJV)
Isaiah 40:7-8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. 8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (KJV)
Ezekiel 47:12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine. (KJV)
James 1:11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways. (KJV)

Reserved: 1 Peter 1:4-5 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (KJV) Psalm 31:19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! (KJV)
Colossians 1:5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; (KJV)
Colossians 3:3-4 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. (KJV)
1 Peter 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. (KJV)
Isaiah 40:7-8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. 8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. (KJV)

HATH eternal life, NOW, not later: Here is this wonderful verse again! John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV)
John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV)
John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV)
John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. (KJV)
John 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. (KJV)
John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (KJV)
John 12:44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. (KJV)
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. (KJV)
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (KJV)
Romans 10:11-13 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (KJV)
1 Peter 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. (KJV)
(KJV)

NO condemnation to God's children: John 3:17-18 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)
John 10:27-30 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one. (KJV)
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (KJV)
Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (KJV)
Romans 8:28-30 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. (KJV)
Romans 8:33-34 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (KJV)
1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, (KJV)
2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. (KJV)
1 Peter 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (KJV)

Those who are physically dead are not affected by the cares and pleasures of the world. They hear neither the voice of merriment nor the footsteps of the living over their graves. So too it is with unsaved sinners, the wicked, the spiritually dead. They are totally unmoved by the things of faith. They do NOT hear the voice of God; they do NOT see His loveliness; they are NOT concerned with His threats. Dear one . . . belief in Jesus IS life, not death.

The TRUE Christian lives with God, knows and acts as if there is a God. The blessings here today, and in the hereafter, are one and the same. The happiness of Heaven is living unto God . . . feeling His Presence ever so near.
The righteous, those 'in Christ' shall not come into condemnation . . . neither for original sin, although judgment has passed upon all men unto condemnation for it; nor for their actual sins and transgressions: although everyone deserves to be condemned. NO one who is in Christ Jesus, believing in Him openly and clearly, shall ever come into condemnation (never be sentenced to Hell). When the righteous shall stand in judgment, he shall be acquitted by the righteousness of Christ, which he, by faith, receives as his justifying righteousness. Romans 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (KJV)
1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (KJV)

Our FAITH in Christ is our security against all condemnation! Whosoever believes in Him shall NOT be condemned, but saved; and though he may come into judgment, condemnation to Hell will NOT happen!
But is passed from death unto life . . . we pass over from a state of spiritual death to the life of being God's child. We ALL are dead in trespasses and sins and under a sentence of condemnation, and eternal death. Only our FAITH in Christ Jesus can change this situation. Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (KJV)
Only our faith in Jesus and the grace of God saves us. Eph.2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV)
Only the righteousness of Christ, applied to us by our faith, justifies us. 1 Corinthians 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (KJV). . . Our "righteousnesses" are as "filthy rags.Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (KJV)

JESUS is the ONLY Way to Heaven! John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (KJV) . . . SO many people today simply do NOT believe this! They just do NOT believe God. They call God a "liar." 1 John 5:10-12 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (KJV)

My friend . . . JESUS IS ETERNAL LIFE!!! 1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. (KJV)

Only Jesus can give us eternal life and secure us from the second death which is Hell! Revelation 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. (KJV)
Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (KJV)
Revelation 20:14-15 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (KJV)
Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. (KJV)

Spiritual death? What is it? See our booklet: Death, then what?. . .
1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. (KJV)

He that has the Son HAS eternal life: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(KJV)
1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. (KJV)
(KJV)

NO condemnation to the righteous, to the sheep of God: John 10:27-30 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

(KJV)
1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. (KJV)
John 6:39-40 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. (KJV) . . . The "Father's will" = His reason, His desire, His intention. WHY did Jesus come to Earth? Because it was the Father's will, the Father's plan! Jesus came willingly to carry out the Father's will, and we can be assured that what God's Plan is, SHALL be done. God's will is always right and just, and Jesus has the power and wisdom to carry it out perfectly. Jesus was always faithful, and always will be, and all power was given to Him in Heaven and on Earth, and we can rest assured that He will most certainly complete the will of God. Count on it! Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (KJV)
Father's will: Matthew 11:25-27 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. 27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. (KJV)
Matthew 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. (KJV)

Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. (KJV)
Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (KJV)
John 6:39-40 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
(KJV)
John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. (KJV)
John 18:9 That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none. (KJV)
Romans 8:28-39 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (KJV)
Romans 9:11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) (KJV)
Romans 9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. (KJV)
Ephesians 1:5-9 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: (KJV)
Ephesians 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: (KJV)
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV)
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. (KJV)
2 Thessalonians 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: (KJV)
2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, (KJV)
2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. (KJV)
1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (KJV)

John 6:37-38 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV) . . . Every single one who believes in Him, all the elect which were given to Christ by His Father. "I should lose nothing" . . . . literally means, "I shall not allow their destruction." He confirms here that He shall keep it to eternal life. NOT one TRUE child of God shall be condemned and cast into Hell!
Even though God's children will probably die physically, and their body return to corruption of the grave (Job 19:26, below), their soul will NOT be destroyed in Hell. The Redeemer will watch over him, although in his grave, and keep him to the resurrection of the just. Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (KJV)
This is affirmed of all who are given to Christ Jesus by the Father; or, as in the next verse, "Every one that believeth on him shall have everlasting life."
Job 19:25-27 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me. (KJV)
Psalm 17:15  As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. (KJV)

What is YET to come for TRUE believers: Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (KJV)
Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. (KJV)
Psalm 36:8-9 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. 9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. (KJV)
Psalm 63:5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: (KJV)
Psalm 65:4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. (KJV)
Isaiah 55:1-2 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. 2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. (KJV)
Jeremiah 31:12-14 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. 13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. 14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD. (KJV)
Zechariah 9:17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids. (KJV)
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (KJV)
John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. (KJV)
Revelation 7:16-17 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. (KJV)
Revelation 21:3-4 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (KJV)
Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. (KJV)

But should raise it up again at the last day . . . their bodies, being given to Christ, and redeemed by His precious Blood (1 Pet.1:18-19), as well as their souls, shall be by the Master, raised up at the last day! The Lord Jesus firmly declares to them that they shall be raised at the last day!
It is also thought by some Jewish writers that they did not believe that the wicked would be raised. This opposes what the Bible states:
Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (KJV)
Mat.25:46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (KJV)
John 5:29  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.(KJV)
Acts 24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. (KJV)
Revelation 20:5-6  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (KJV) . . . The wicked dead SHALL be raised!
NO one is "predestined" to Hell! Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. (KJV) "Predestination" applies ONLY to the saved. It means just exactly what Jesus is saying here. When a person believes God and accepts Christ as Saviour and Lord, he is justified . . . and when he is justified, he is going to be glorified. When Jesus starts out with 100 sheep, He shall come through with 100 sheep. He will not lose any! NOT a single one! That is what this means. Everyone who believes and receives Christ has everlasting life and will be raised up again at the last day. Once Saved, Always saved:

Justified by FAITH; simply BELIEVE God and accept Jesus to save you: Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (KJV)
Romans 3:22-30 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: 30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. (KJV)
Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. (KJV)
Romans 4:24-25 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. (KJV)
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (KJV)
Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. (KJV)
Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. (KJV)
Romans 9:30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. (KJV)
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(KJV)
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV)
Acts 13:38-39 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. (KJV)
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (KJV)
Galatians 3:11-14 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (KJV)
Galatians 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. (KJV)
Galatians 5:4-6 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. (KJV)
Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: (KJV)
James 2:23-26 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (KJV)

ALL who are JUSTIFIED by faith, Christ Jesus will raise up the last day: John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, (KJV)
(KJV)
John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV)
John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV)
John 11:24-26 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (KJV)
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (KJV)
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (KJV)
Philippians 3:20-21 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (KJV)

John 6:40  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (KJV)
And this is the will of him that sent me . . . the will of Jesus' Father Who sent Him. Jesus clearly tells us God's will is revealed in the Gospel. The sons of men (unbelievers) must be made acquainted with it, or they are in trouble. I believe that it is the DUTY of every TRUE child of God to tell others of Jesus and His Gospel, for Jesus and that Gospel is the only thing that can save them from the torments of Hell.
That everyone which seeth the Son, and believeth on him . . . this means that whosoever sees Him as to BELIEVE in Him. This is NOT to be understood of a bodily sight of Christ, for we today do NOT literally SEE Him in the Body. Today we SEE Jesus only with our heart. Neither does it mean a mere indefinite knowledge of Him, or historical faith in Him. When we SEE Jesus with our heart, we BELIEVE What and Who He was, the Son of God, the Messiah and Saviour of the world! We must have faith that Jesus IS Who He says He is, and can and will do what He says He will do! Only a "few" believed when He was here on Earth, and that has NOT changed in today's world! Jesus says that we must SEE Him for Who He is, and believe that He can save us from eternal destruchion in Hell!

People are by nature blind, they shut their eyes and heart to all that is spiritually good. Only the Spirit of God that can open blind eyes, and illuminate their understanding. Only when we then see, in His light, our sin, our lack of righteousness, our lost state and condition, can we ever SEE Christ in His beauty, glory and Excellency . . . and His ability and willingness to save us, and realize the fullness of His amazing grace. Only through Jesus can we ever have righteousness, peace, pardon, cleansing, wisdom, strength, grace, eternal life and salvation from Hell. IF anyone decides to reject Jesus, they reject all the goodness of God the Father! BEWARE!!! Be very careful of what you hear and believe, and who you listen to. Your eternal destination depends on it! Listen to and believe what God states in His Holy Book.

All People shall be resurrected one day, but NOT all people go the Heaven as some heretics teach. Universalism is a damnable, demonic heresy!
Being raised to eternal life is ONLY for those who SEE Christ Jesus spiritually and believe in Him.

We are  subject to many spiritual backslides and downfalls, we may at times lose our peace, joy and comfort, and think our strength and hope are gone, but we shall NEVER lose the eternal life Jesus has promised to us, for He does NOT lie! . . . Once a person is truly saved, they are saved FOREVER! Eternal is everlasting, no stopping!

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (KJV) . . . Christ's sheep are in the Hands of Jesus, put there by God His Father, as a proof of His love to Christ and the sheep. No man or no devil with all his malice, power and cunning shall be able to pluck them from His Hand. Pluck them . . . to rob, to seize and grab away as a robber does his prey. Jesus holds them so secure and so surely that NO enemy can surprise or overcome Him by force.Jesus has them safe and secure in His own powerful Hand!

They shall never perish . . . To perish here means to be destroyed, or to be punished in Hell. Whosoever believes in Christ shall not perish (Jn.3:15, above).

Hebrews 13:5-6  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (KJV) . . . Our lifestyle, our conduct should be without covetousness. Covetousness is greed! It is an excessive desire for riches, a deep yearning for things of the world, accompanied with dissatisfaction and discontent with what they have. We are to be content with such things as ye have! The main reason given here for contentment is, that God has promised never to leave His people. Let us be content with this Promise. God will NOT forsake His people, ever!

I will NEVER leave thee: Genesis 28:15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. (KJV)
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. (KJV)
Deuteronomy 31:8 And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. (KJV)
Joshua 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. (KJV)
1 Chronicles 28:20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD. (KJV)
Psalm 37:28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. (KJV)
Psalm 94:14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. (KJV)
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (KJV)
Psalm 37:28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. (KJV) Psalm 94:14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. (KJV)

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. (KJV)
Isaiah 41:17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. (KJV)
Isaiah 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. (KJV)
Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (KJV)

We must always remember that the soul does NOT die.
2 Cor. 5:6-8  Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7  (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8  We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. (KJV) . . . The soul of a TRUE child of God NEVER dies, but goes to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is ONLY the body that is put to sleep (dies). It is ONLY the body that must be changed in order to gain access to Heaven. We must also remember that there will be a certain generation that will NOT go through death, but their bodies will still need to be changed, to be fitted for the glory of Heaven.
1 Thes. 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. (KJV)
1 Cor.15:51-53 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (KJV)
It is only the body that goes to sleep and it is the body that is raised. Resurrection does not refer to the soul or the spirit.
Paul was not afraid to die because he was confident of spending eternity with Christ. Facing the unknown may cause us anxiety, and leaving loved ones behind hurts deeply, but if we believe in Jesus Christ, we can share Paul's hope and confidence of eternal life with Christ. Death is only the first step to eternal life with God. We will continue to live. May this blessed hope (Tit.2:13) give you confidence and inspire you to serve the Lord Jesus faithfully.

2 Cor. 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (KJV) 2 Cor. 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. (KJV)

Absent from the body, . . . . present with the Lord  . . . Paul had no idea of a Heaven where the Lord Jesus would NOT be, so to be with Jesus was to be in Heaven. This also proves that the spirits of the saints, when they die, are with the Lord, meaning they are taken at once to Heaven.
This proves:
#1. They are NOT annihilated.
#2. They do NOT sleep, and remain in an unconscious state, as some suppose.
#3. They are NOT in some intermediate state, either in purgatory, as the Catholics falsely teach, or a state where all the souls of the just and the unjust are assembled in a common abode, as many Protestants have supposed.
#4. They dwell WITH Christ; they are WITH the Lord! They abide in His Presence; they partake of His joy and His glory; they are permitted to sit with Him in His throne. Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (KJV)
This same idea the Saviour expressed to the dying thief, when Jesus said: Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
