The Evils of Ecumenism

2 Cor. 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (KJV)

Many people who claim to be "Christian" are SO naive concerning the evils of ecumenism. This is a very real and very dangerous enemy of the New Testament Church. Ecumenism is at the very heart of Satan's plan for a New World Order!
Ecumenism: The doctrine of the Ecumenical Movement promoting cooperation and better understanding among different religious denominations is aimed at universal Church unity. Satan's plan is to bring about a One-World Religion, which will eventually lead all these followers to worship the man of sin, the Antichrist. This is why Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Baha'i Faith, Christian Scientists, Islam, New Age, Scientologists, Seventh-Day Adventists, Charismatics, Catholics and nearly ALL mainstream religions have some sort of occult connection.
Ecumenism may sound innocent enough, and it is absolutely promoted by MANY of today's preachers, BUT . . . ecumenism is one of Satan's main tricks to infiltrate the New Testament Church. Listen my friend, it is EVIL! It corrupts souls and leads them AWAY from the Word of God. Ecumenism is of the devil. The Bible clearly teaches that it is better to be divided by Truth, than to be united by error.

TRUE Bible-believing Christians are commanded NOT to be joined together with unbelievers (people not saved). This means that a New Testament Church must NOT yoke together in any way with Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists, Catholics, Lutherans, Charismatics, Lordship Salvationists, New Age or any other deadly cults that condemn souls to an eternal Hell.
We must NOT go along with the damnable heresies of: Baptismal Salvation, Works Salvation, Sacramental Salvation or Lordship Salvation, all Word-faith garbage, Mary worship, transubstantiation, the Mass, rosaries, scapulars, novenas, the false priesthood, idolatry, purgatory and indulgences, etc., etc. All these are deceptions and perversions of the SIMPLICITY that is in Christ Jesus (Rom.10:9; 1 Thes.4:14). Eternal life is a free Gift from God (Rom.5:15; 6:23; Eph.2:8-9) that you receive by faith in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God (John 1:14; 3:15-16; 5:24; 8:24; 20:31; 1 John 5:11-13).
The Bible uses simple terms in 2 Cor.6:14... “light” vs “darkness,” and “righteousness” vs “unrighteousness.” There is NOTHING that can join light and darkness. There is NOTHING that can join righteousness and unrighteousness! There is NO uniting those oppositions. Friendship with the world makes a person God's enemy. James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (KJV) . . . BUT . . . HOW many professing "Christians" in today's churches are yoking with the enemies of God? Hypocritical 'religious' teachers are perverting the simplicity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! They are corrupting the Gospel of Christ and they are the children of the devil (John 8:44; 1 John 3:7-10). We must NOT go along with them in ecumenical apostasy and sinful compromise. It is evil to support, promote or yoke together with ANY religion that corrupts or perverts the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ. TRUE Biblical Christians must NOT fellowship with heathen Catholics or any other cult. A person of "light" CANNOT fellowship with a person of darkness?
Ecumenicals Preach Love and Unity; But Totally Disregard Truth
Billy Graham is the most well known figure in the apostate Ecumenical Movement. He has sinfully united unbelieving Catholics together with confused and compromising Protestants. The goal of Satan's Ecumenical agenda is to corrupt, diminish, water-down and twist TRUE Biblical Christianity, and he is doing a great job with all his demonic assistance! BEWARE!!!
Ecumenicals speak about love, unity and fellowship . . . but the plain fact is, they are promoting an evil and sinful compromise with God's enemies. The Bible says Jesus came to divide family members against each other. Luke 12:53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. (KJV) . . . I have found that this prophecy has been fulfilled in my family. Mother against daughter . . . YES! My mother forbid me to speak of "religion" (Jesus) to her. Daughter against mother. . . YES! Professing to be "Christians” they have had several husbands, and have lied and criticized me. One brother is a Jehovah’s Witness. Another has stopped speaking to me because I tried to tell him the Truth about eternity. I could go on, but you see what I mean. We CANNOT, we must NOT join forces with God’s enemy! (Jam.4:4).
What does Jesus mean in Luke 12:53? It means that people will turn away from you, even your own family will abandon IF and WHEN you stand up for Jesus and the Truth of God's Word. 2 Tim. 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. (KJV) . . . IF you carry a Bible and speak of Jesus, the world will give you up! Believe it my friend!

WHY do I continue? Because I believe the Bible and I love Jesus more than life itself. And the following Passage gives me great comfort and peace: Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (KJV) . . . I believe this, because I am already “blessed” many times over!
Ecumenicals blame what they call: radically-minded, bigoted, Bible-believing Christians, for all the evil in the world. They say that we should all get along with each other, and set aside our religious differences. THAT would be compromise! They constantly teach that love and peace is what the world needs. This is all well and good, but when you remove their outer pretense, you will find that you must absolutely compromise some where, some how, some way, and that opposes and disregards Biblical Truth.
For the Ecumenical, nothing matters except love, peace and unity. . . . SO . . . that means they will NEVER criticize anyone's beliefs, NO matter how unbiblical they may be. The truth is, they would follow the Antichrist if he were to come tomorrow. That is exactly what Satan's plan is for the Ecumenical Movement is! Leading ALL religious denominations into a One-World religion that worships the Beast (Dan.7:20-25; Rev.13).

Ecumenicals falsely accuse TRUE Bible-believing Christians of being ignorant, intolerant and hateful. Ecumenicals consider anyone who is immovable in their stand for Jesus and their Biblical faith as blind to the truth (what THEY consider truth). BUT . . . it is the ecumenicals that are blind to Bible Truth and complete fools who sadly lack any spiritual wisdom and faith in God. They are unsaved rebels, walking on the same broad road as the devil, criticizing and persecuting God's TRUE children.

Followers of the Ecumenical Movement come from many different walks of life. Nearly all musicians, singers, entertainers, celebrities and politicians are extremely ecumenical, including a multitude of professing Christians. NONE of them have the courage to ever say that Christ is the ONLY Way to Heaven and most of them do NOT believe it (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). To do so would seriously jeopardize their careers. They would much rather have the praise of men more than the praise of God (John 12:43).

Ecumenicalists are deceivers, hypocrites and liars! They reject the Bible as their Final Authority. They speak of love, peace and unity; but they are some of the most closed-minded people in the world, condemning anyone who is rigid and firm in their Christian beliefs. Ecumenism is the religion of the New World Order, prophesied in the Bible, where anyone is allowed to believe anything EXCEPT Biblical Christianity. They say that we all should be tolerant of other faiths and beliefs; BUT . . . they themselves are extremely intolerant of Biblical Christianity. They are hypocrites (Mat.23:13-33)!

How can a TRUE Christian worship Mary? THAT is idolatry! (Deut.5:7).
How can a TRUE Christian pray to Mary and saints? The Bible tells us to pray to GOD! (John 15:16).
How can a TRUE Christian repeat the rosary over and over again when the Bible forbids it? (Mat.6:7).
How can a TRUE Christian call a mortal man "father" in a spiritual sense, and worse yet, call the pope who is a mortal, sinful man "holy father" (Mat.23:9).
How can a TRUE Christian trust in a non-existent purgatory. That word is NOT in the Bible, nor is its teaching! That just gives people hope that shall not come!
How can a TRUE Christian go along with all those statues in the Catholic church? That is forbidden in the Bible. (Deut.5:8-9).
How can a TRUE Christian even begin to think that a little bitty wafer literally turns into the Body of Christ? Ridiculous!
And what about their mass? They are crucifying Christ all over again, day after day!
How can a TRUE Christian confess their sins to a mortal, sinful man, a priest? Only God can forgive sins. (1 John 1:9).

Since SIN is against God, because we have broken His Law, sin can be forgiven ONLY by GOD! When we forgive someone for sinning against us, which is a command by God (Mat.6:15; 18:35), it does NOT remove the sin, for only God can remove it. Penance (self-punishment) will NOT get you God's forgiveness. You must repent before GOD, not some earthly sinner. There is more . . . but even if you consent to ANY of these, you are compromising your faith in Christ!
This is just some of the "Catholic" beliefs. But, what about Mormons? Jehovah's Witnesses? Buddhists? Freemasons? etc. etc. And what about the Islam religion? Its book, the Quaran (Koran) commands its followers to do things totally opposite from the Word of God, the Holy Bible.

Consider these quotes:

"I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" (Sura 8:12) . . . Behead them, cut off their fingers?? THAT is what this is saying to me. No reasonable person can interpret this to mean simply a spiritual struggle.

"Slay them wherever you find them ...Idolatry is worse than carnage ...Fight against them until idolatry is no more and God's religion reigns supreme." (Surah 2:190) . . . Kill them where you find them, is what their Koran teaches.

"Seek out your enemies relentlessly." (Surah 4:103) . . . If a person is not Muslim, they are enemies.

"Believers, take neither Jews nor Christians for your friends." (Surah 5:51)

"Make war on them until idolatry shall cease and God's religion shall reign supreme." (Surah 8:36) . . . "God's religion" is Islam according to Muslims.

"If you do not fight, He will punish you sternly, and replace you by other men." (Surah 9:37) . . . A true Muslim must fight against all other "religions" according to this.

"Believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Deal firmly with them." (Surah 9:121) . . . An "infidel" is anyone who is not Muslim.

Islam teaches:

Jesus is NOT the Son of God.
Jesus was NOT crucified.
Jesus did NOT rise from the grave on the third day.
The Bible is NOT the Word of God.

A TRUE Christian CANNOT compromise with any unbiblical "religion." It is WRONG! And judgment shall follow!
Just a few years ago Roman Catholicism was included among the "modern Cults." BUT . . . today, in spite of its false "another gospel" (2 Cor.11:4) of works and ritual which millions of martyrs faithfully opposed to the death, Catholicism is widely embraced by some of the nation's most trusted "evangelical" leaders! Naive evangelical flocks are slowly and surely falling into the devil's plan of unity of ALL churches by accepting and/or compromising Biblical beliefs and faith.

The ECT expression: "I embrace all those as brethren who 'love Jesus' and 'name the name of Christ'" leaves a lot to be desired. Many cults say that they love Jesus and nearly all "name the name of Christ." A person MUST understand just what those words mean. The TRUE Gospel of God's grace is denied by every cult and false religion, including Roman Catholicism!

Infant baptism does NOT removes original sin and make one a child of God!
Salvation is NOT in the church and NOT in its sacraments!
Redemption is NOT an ongoing process of daily offering the Body and Blood of Christ upon its altars!
Christ died "once for all" (Heb.10:10).
NO amount of good works can ever merit acceptance with God!
Salvation CANNOT be bought! It is a GIFT from God (Rom.6:23; Eph.2:8-9).

NO one can believe two contradictory beliefs at the same time!

You CANNOT believe Christ obtained redemption through His Blood and also believe redemption is being accomplished through Catholic rites and rituals.
You CANNOT believe salvation is by faith and "not of works" and at the same time believe that our good works earn salvation.

My mother went to a Methodist church. When I wrote to her pastor and voiced my worries about Mom not being saved, I received a letter that was filled with violent hatred pointed at me. She (the pastor) said that if anyone was saved, it was my mother because she was always doing good for someone. God would never turn His Back on such a good woman. (Her words).

True! Mom was a very kind and loving person, and she was always helping someone. But, she had forbidden me to speak about Jesus to her. "Your way is not the only way." That was her opinion of religion. At her funeral, her pastor, then (a man), said that my mother was in Heaven now. But in my heart, I wonder. How I pray he was right, but only God Himself knows the answer to that.

We are living in the Last Days. We all must watch as we wait for the Coming of the Lord Jesus at the Rapture.
