# 6 of the Eight ‘Last-Days’ Judgments

1 Cor. 6:1-3 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? (KJV)
If the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
This is not talking about the judgment at the Great White Throne, which will be the judgment when the lost appear before Christ. This has to do with the settling the affairs of the Universe down through eternity.
#1. . . .  Saints will judge the world . . . I believe this has to do with what Paul wrote to Timothy. 2 Tim. 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: (KJV)
#2. . . . 1 Cor. 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? (KJV) . . . The background and spirit of this Passage require that it must be understood of the future and final judgment. The saints shall judge the world . . . Paul tells them that when the Son of Man shall sit on the throne of His glory, then shall ye sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel (Mt.19:28). My friend, if you are a believer in Christ, you will have a part with the Lord Jesus in ruling the Earth someday. This is NOT talking about the judgment at the Great White Throne, which will be the judgment when the lost appear before Christ. This has to do with the settling the affairs of the Universe in eternity.
#3. . . . There shall be NO Unrighteousness in the Kingdom of God. NONE at all! . . .
Rev. 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. (KJV) Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (KJV) . . . This is a remarkable verse. This is an unchangeable law that operates in every area of life. In agriculture, if you sow corn, you get corn; if you sow cotton, you reap cotton. And so it is in the moral area of life also, you reap what you sow. The belief stated here is undisputable, unchanging, unalterable and cannot be revoked. It cannot be changed one tiny bit, and it applies to EVERY area of life. When you sow wheat, you will get wheat. You will never pick an orange from a pecan tree. Often a watermelon vine spreads out quite far, but there is never a pumpkin on the end of it, and there will always be a watermelon on the end of a watermelon vine.
Wheat was found in tombs in Egypt that was put there possibly thousands of years ago. It was  planted and it came up wheat. In all those years the seed NEVER forgot that it was wheat. What you sow you will reap and that will never change. Do NOT be deceived. God will NEVER be mocked. When you sow corn, you shall reap corn. When you sow sin, that is what you will reap.
Drugs will ruin your mind. Booze will ruin your liver. Illicit and immoral sex will bring disease.  Someone may say, “I got converted. I’m a Christian now.” Wonderful! BUT . . . you still have a payday someday. You will still reap what you have sown. Even when a person becomes a Christian, their past sins are forgiven, YES . . . BUT . . . if they contracted a venereal disease, it will stay with them on Earth. BEWARE!!!
The apostle Paul said, be not deceived (1 Cor.15:33; Gal.6:7), either by any false teachers, or by the many examples of such sinners that you have each day, nor by judges' involvement at these sins. 1 Cor. 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (KJV)
Neither fornicators . . . meaning single persons who commit immoral, sexual uncleanness with others. Paul distinguishes these sinners from adulterers, whom he mentions later.
Nor idolaters . . . this is worship of the creature instead of God, OR worship of the TRUE GOD before images [idols].
Nor adulterers . . . an adulterer is a married persons, breaking their marriage agreement, and committing sexual uncleanness with someone who is NOT their spouse.
Nor effeminate persons . . . this covers quite a lot: effeminate refers to men who have feminine traits to an incorrect degree; it is a catamite [a boy kept for homosexual practices], a young man who submits his body to unnatural lewdness (Joel 3:3); it is also abusers of themselves with mankind; those guilty of unnatural offenses; a sodomite; a homosexual; a sexual pervert of any kind; it is those that give themselves up to carnality, burning continually in their immoral lusts (Gen.19:5; Lev.18:22; 20:13; Mk.7:21-22; Rom.1:26-27; 1 Cor.6:9-10; Gal.5:19-21; Eph.5:3-6; 1 Tim.1:10; Heb.13:4; Jude 1:7).  
Nor abusers of themselves with mankind . . . nor such as are guilty of the sin of Sodom, which sin should NOT be named among Christians.

Rom. 4:24-25 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. (KJV)
Sometimes believers will say, “I sure don’t feel like a saint.” I certainly can relate to that! But, feelings and emotions have little to do with it. What matters is NOT how we FEEL, but what God STATES . . . and He has certainly told us in His Word that He imputes [attributes] Jesus’s righteousness to us when we believe in Him. This makes us positionally holy . . . even when we’re struggling with the practical aspects of holiness. God’s PERFECT righteousness is imputed “to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead” (Rom.4:24; 8:11; 2 Cor.4:14). Our position as saints is NOT established by our strength or wisdom or ability to perform, but ONLY by the righteousness of Jesus, who lived a perfect life and then took our place on the Cross. The Corinthian Church was quite possibly the most carnal, divisive and difficult congregation in the known world. Those believers at Corinth had some very serious problems! Yet Paul loved them and addressed them as saints, which should tell us something about the depth and breadth of God’s love for His children, and His patience with us, even with their irresponsibility and other obvious deficiencies. The Corinthians were flawed, but God loved them too much to let them stay that way! That’s why this letter strongly stresses sanctification and spiritual transformation. So, when Paul talks about saints being destined to “judge the world,” he is talking about you and me! It is all about OUR serving as co-servants with our King, Christ Jesus in the future Kingdom of God.
The Lord Jesus’ stewardship teachings certainly reflect this belief. In one passage, we read, “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord’” (Mat. 25:23). In another He said, “Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.” (Luke 19:17, 19). So, Jesus was making the point that a servant who is faithful in “this [present] world” will be rewarded with rulership and responsibility in “the world to come.”
In 1 Corinthians 6, the Apostle Paul is concerned about believers (Christians) suing each other in earthly courts. Paul’s correct and right solution was that cases of this kind should be decided “before the saints” (v. 1) . . . meaning that they should be handled internally within the leadership structure of the local congregation (that is, pastors, elders, and/or deacons). This is the context in which we find Paul reminding the Corinthian believers that someday, they “will judge the world” (v. 2). Running the Universe is going to be a huge undertaking once our King is on His throne in Jerusalem!
