The MARK of the Beast

Revelation 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (KJV)

This prophecy is very dangerous for those who have NOT accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord and will be alive when this LAW will be enacted and enforced. This mark may be some kind of tattoo, or implanted microchip, with all of your credit card and banking information on it. We really do not know yet, but it seems very likely that it may be a microchip, like that used already in our pets.

It will be very difficult to refuse this mark, whatever it may be, for many will have families and children that will need to be fed and cared for. But, BEWARE!!! Please be warned ahead, because I do think this LAW is creeping closer and closer to us. By accepting this mark, you will have sealed your eternal fate . . . HELL . . . the lake of fire (Rev.20:15).

In God’s eyes it identifies you with the Antichrist. There will be absolutely NO turning back for anyone who takes the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. My dear friend, the utter darkness, loneliness and torments of Hell will be your fate (Rev.14:9-11; 16:2; 19:20).

Blessings are promised in Heaven to all those who refuse to take the mark and refuse to bow down to this coming world leader . . . and die in their faith for doing so (Rev.15:2; 20:4). The Lord will remove the sting of death (1 Cor.15:56-57).

There is little doubt that on the surface Satan’s religious and governmental system under the leadership of the Antichrist and the False Prophet will look very good to most people. This is why they will be very unhappy when they see this wicked system being destroyed by Jesus Christ (Rev.18:4-20).

A puzzle . . . 666
Rev. 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (KJV)

The number of the beast is given, so as to show the infinite wisdom of God. This number has been discussed more than any other part of the Book of Revelation. The three sixes (666) have been said to represent many things: the number of man, the unholy trinity of Satan, Antichrist and the False Prophet (Rev.16:13). If the number seven is considered to be the perfect number in the Bible, and if three sevens represent complete perfection, then the number 666 falls way short of perfection. Some people have applied 666 to the emperor Nero, who symbolized all the evils of the Roman Empire.
Personally, I think it very unwise of us to waste our time trying to figure out this number. We should be trying to win as many souls to Christ as we can, in order that they not go through this horrendous time. Remember that both these “beasts” that John saw in his vision are men. This should teach us not to place our trust in man, but in God!
Jeremiah 17:5-8 Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. [6] For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. [8] For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. (KJV) I am so thankful that I will not go through the Great Tribulation period. I am so grateful that Jesus has saved my soul from the everlasting destruction of Hell (1 Thes.1:10; 5:9; Rev.3:10), and one day will allow me to be in His awesome Presence. Thank You Jesus!

We are living in the Last Days. We all must watch as we wait for the Coming of the Lord Jesus at the Rapture.
