End Time Sign . . . Famine

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. (KJV)
Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. (KJV)
Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. (KJV)

And there shall be famines. Consider all the famine that has struck the world over the past 30 years. Thousands die everyday of starvation, and global starvation is spreading and increasing causing one Billion people to go hungry around the world. Add to that the failed crops throughout the world because of extreme weather, and honey bees dying off in massive numbers . . . we have a worldwide shortage of food coming soon.

Not only that, we have chemicals like Monsanto who are poisoning the crops that are left!
The sad thing about this sign, is that the amount of food that is wasted in the developed world could feed the hungry! So think about those in need next time you load your plate at an all you can eat buffet. We can also help the poor and needy, by giving them of our bread and clothing. Rather than throwing away what we don't want or need, donate to charities.
Deadly poisons:

Again, we must remember not to take just one sign as being the last days. Matthew 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. (KJV) Emphasis mine. . . . But when you see "all these things" you will know that it (the last days) is nigh. Until we determine what things are included in "all these things," previously mentioned (verse 6) and what is meant by the it which was to be near when "all these things" had been seen. The term all, is not to be understood as including every single event previously mentioned, because the fact that the occasion of the other events was to be a sign that the Excepted One is drawing near. The last event of the series is the Coming of the Son of Man, was accompanied by the darkening of the heavenly bodies, and the gathering together of the saints. This event, then, was to be near when all the others had been seen. In the same way, when they see what Jesus had predicted, the signs around Jerusalem, then they would know that its destruction is at hand. It is my belief, that we should keep our eyes on the fig tree. She is the main perspective in these the last days. Keep your eyes on Israel.
