False Predictions Of the End Times
Utterly Ridiculous "Predictions"
Over the last several decades, Bible believers have been assured that we are living in the last days, the end is near! Hal Lindsay said 1988 would be the end. And 1948 was supposedly the "Super Sign of the End" according to Tim LaHaye and Thomas Ice. Then Edgar Whisenutt gave 88 reasons, why the Rapture would be in 1988. Then with the Gulf War in 1990 we were told that Saddam Hussein was the re-incarnation of King Nebuchadnezzar. He was restoring Babylon; the end was near! Then it was the year 2000. Remember Y2K? Y2K would bring in the millennium!! What nonsense people fall for! Now, the "real" (re-calculated) date is supposedly 2012! The end is near ....AGAIN! The list goes on and on. Grant Jeffrey, John Hagee, Jack Van Impee, have all predicted that the Lord would come in this generation. BUT, they ALL were WRONG! Anyone who is stupid enough to make a prediction (prophecy) like this SHALL fail, and will CONTINUE to fail! NO one knows when Jesus will come! Mat.24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.(KJV) . . . These 'nuts' are saying that my Lord is a "liar"!
The failure of these modern day so-called "prophecy experts" have convinced many Bible believers that the study of Bible prophecy is a waste of time, and too, the enemies of Christ and the Bible are on the attack, taking these false man-made predictions to discount Christ Himself! Hang in there TRUE believers! God CANNOT lie (Tit.1:2). EVERY prophecy in God's Holy and non-erring Book SHALL be fulfilled . . . in God's time schedule . . . NOT man's stupid guesses!
Why not stop all the endless speculation? It is high time to bring some sanity to Bible study. The study of Bible prophecy is a most fascinating and important topic, and SO rewarding! Jesus DID the work that His Father gave Him to do, so we CAN believe in Him (John 10:37). One of the things . . . the "final work" that the Father gave Him to do is the work of the His Second Coming . . . at the Rapture (1 Thes.4:13-18) AND His Coming for Israel (Rev.19:11-21; Zec.14:2-5). Based on Jesus' own Words, it is extremely important that we understand as much as possible the study of Bible prophecy, so we can fully believe, having NO doubts, in order to defend our faith in Jesus as the Son of God! (1 Pet.3:15).
I truly am devoted to my Lord and Master and do all I can to bring a right presentation of Jesus as the Christ, the Messiah, the only begotten Son of Almighty God. I desperately try to provide right answers to those enemies of Christ and enemies of the Bible who would deny His deity, based on the ridiculous claims that He failed to keep any of His Promises. God CANNOT lie (Tit.1:2), and Jesus IS God! (John 10:30)..
All those who have faith in Christ shall one day dwell in His glorious Presence, for they shall receive the eternal life that He has so graciously promised (John 3:15-16; 5:24; 14:1-6).
What you read on our web sites may make you wonder about your beliefs and those of your church, and the news media. I go to great lengths to bring the Truth of God's Word. The failed predictions of these ridiculous modern day, so-called 'prophets' shall continue. Believe the Bible! It does NOT lie or make false predictions! Believe God!
The stage is being set for the fulfillment of ancient prophecies which foretell the end of this age . . . BUT there are many Christ haters who ridicule this idea. Postmillennialists, preterists and others do NOT believe in the literal, premillennial return of our Lord Jesus. They say that there have been many groups, many times that have claimed the end of the world and all have been wrong. They are right! There are many nuts who refuse to believe God! Mat.24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (KJV) . . . WHY do they keep trying to make Him a liar?
Some tried to make a connection between the Y2K phenomenon and Bible prophecy. In 1998 and 1999, the Christian publishing market was flooded with books and videos explaining the supposed prophetic implications of Y2K. Some preachers claimed that God would use Y2K to bring His judgment on a sinful and unbelieving world. I understand that one well-meaning Messianic rabbi even claimed that he found prophetic warnings about a Y2K disaster hidden in the Hebrew text of the Torah!
Scoffers ridicule: “See! Those premillennialists are all crazy!” Yes! I believe that Jesus shall come at the Rapture (1 Thes.4:13-18) and take God's TRUE people Home before the Great Tribulation, and before the Millennium! But I do NOT believe that anyone can predict WHEN Christ will come in the clouds. So, I believe God, and I wait and watch!
Many today insist that there is little or no prophetic significance to the events occurring in our world today. I strongly disagree! I believe there are many signs that God has given us.
I would say that critics have a hard time explaining how such an incredible combination of world events and conditions, foreseen and predicted millennia ago by the biblical prophets, could come in our generation unless it was by God's plan. Could all these developments intersect at once, just by coincidence? I don't think so! My friend, God is in control!
